Delfarius remains levitating above the eastern balcony, motionless within the morning air. His awareness travels through every ley line, confirming each current holds its proper course and strength.
A cup of black coffee forms beside his hand, conjured from beans that no longer exist. Below, the Tower gathers the creation’s daily reports around his meditation in orderly, weightless pages.

The ley lines are stable.
The sky-clock completes its calibration, then hesitates. The repaired ward circuit has shifted the Tower’s measurements, placing Orosia’s report several hours out of sequence.
The discrepancy does not disturb the meditation. It simply draws a fine violet mark through the report before the pages continue arranging themselves around Delfarius’s awareness.
In the adjacent archive-facing room, the sealed black volume remains unopened. Yet its unauthorized claim is already indexing events before they occur, and the Tower quietly places that impossible record before Delfarius.
