The armory sector is a graveyard of broken steel and scorched earth. The stench of diesel fuel hangs heavy in the air, mixing with the metallic tang of fresh blood. Seth stands over the cooling body of Savior 1, his boots sinking into the churned mud. The fuel tank looms overhead, riddled with bullet holes that weep dark liquid onto the gravel.

Seth
We cannot stay in the open. The gunshots will draw every scavenger and walker within five miles.

Miller
Seth, we need to move to the lower levels of the bunker. There is a secondary exit through the maintenance tunnels that leads toward the Kingdom’s main interior.

Seth
He is right. We leave the body, we leave the scent, and we disappear before their backup arrives.
Seth turns his back on the carnage, scanning the perimeter one last time. He signals to Miller and they vanish into the shadows of the bunker’s service entrance, abandoning the armory to the encroaching storm.
