The armory is secure, but the air in Alexandria is thick with the smell of ozone and wet pine. Seth knows they cannot linger here while Negan’s shadow looms over the perimeter. He grabs his gear, signaling Shane and Brenna that it is time to move. They depart the settlement under the cover of a dense, rolling fog, heading toward the derelict outskirts of the old shipping terminal to set up a forward operating base.

Seth
The Saviors are going to keep sniffing around the armory. If we want to win, we need to be the ones hunting them from the shadows.
They arrive at the terminal just as the sun begins to bleed through the gray clouds. The location is a graveyard of rusted shipping containers and splintered timber. The wind howls through the gaps in the metal, creating an eerie, whistling melody that mimics the Whisperers.

Shane
Seth, this place is a death trap. If we stay here, we're just waiting for a bullet in the back of our heads.

Seth
Shane, keep your voice down. We hold the high ground here. If Negan shows his face, we make sure he never leaves.

Elder Brenna
share a look of weary skepticism, their eyes darting to the shifting shadows cast by the rust-eaten metal walls.

Seth
Listen, this is how we stop being the prey. We fortify this terminal, we set our tripwires, and we turn this graveyard into a kiln. When Negan or the Whisperers decide to march on us, they won't find a settlement. They'll find a tomb of their own making. This is the advantage we need to survive.

Shane
You've got that look in your eye again, Seth. Fine. If we’re doing this, we do it my way—reinforce the perimeter before the light dies.

Elder Brenna
The boy is right, Shane. The fog is thick enough to hide our movements, but it won't hold forever. Let's get to work.

Seth
We’re finally dictating the terms. No more running. No more losing.
The trio begins clearing the debris, moving with purpose through the labyrinth of iron, unaware that a twig snaps in the fog just beyond the eastern container block.
