Dallas snaps the ledger and keycard deeper under his coat and uses the desk as cover. One intruder reaches for the filing wall cabinet, where the open drawer still hangs like a wound in the room.

Outside, Jackson’s headlights flare through the window. Dallas can get the evidence out through the rear exit, or pin the men in the study long enough to keep Hart’s net from closing around the house.
