Dallas keeps the file open and pushes one more layer deeper. The final entry points to the route feeding Elena’s future, and the purge bar stalls just long enough for him to copy it out.

Dallas keys the search field with two fingers and drags the copied log into view. The entries sort by badge ID, room access, and camera override.

One ID repeats beside the bridal suite corridor, then again beside a brief maintenance pause in the cameras. The same staff number tags both events.

Dallas clicks the ID open. A service record blooms on screen, linking it to hallway camera maintenance and a late-night cart check outside the suite.

Clara leans in from the doorway, reading the screen over his shoulder. Her face tightens, then steadies when the name settles into place.

The purge bar keeps crawling, but the copied file is already in Dallas's hands. Outside the hub, the corridor latch clicks again, slow and deliberate.
