Kalazan plants his staff deep into the stone, his eyes igniting with a violet, focused intensity that mirrors the ceiling's glow. He chants in the tongue of the deep earth.

The ink fountain erupts in a spray of darkness as the curse is stripped away. The shadow-entity lets out a silent, jarring scream as its structure loses all cohesion.
As the entity collapses, a metallic object falls from the dissolving shadow, clattering onto the obsidian floor with a heavy, ancient ring.
