Commander Korth plants his boots at the seam and lifts one hand, bracing the others back from the opening. He peers into the violet haze, jaw set, as if daring the hidden corridor to answer.
Kalazan raises his staff. A fragrant breeze gathers around the carved tip, pale and bright, then spills into the crack like a cleansing tide.
The haze shudders. Violet strands peel away from the stone, thinning into nothing as the spell presses deeper through the hidden passage.

Commander Korth
There. Keep it moving, Kalazan. I want every last trace of that foulness gone.

The Dark Arcana Caster
It is working. The anchor is losing its grip. I can feel the foreign pattern breaking apart.

Kalazan
The seam is clearing, and the stone beyond is no longer masked.
The last violet flicker dies. Dust-choked masonry, old mortar, and a narrow corridor beyond stand exposed in the spell's crisp scent, silent and waiting.

Commander Korth
Do we open it wider, or do we seal this first and trace the mark?

“I cast a floating orb of seeing to invstigate”
SUCCESS (Legendary Conjuration arcana, rolled +2)

Kalazan lifts his staff and shapes a floating orb of seeing above the newly revealed corridor. Moon-bright glass gathers, then steadies into a hovering eye of pale light.
The orb drifts through the opening, slow and sure, and the hidden passage blooms in its glow. Old cut stone, fresh scrape marks, and a thin trail of violet residue line the floor.

Kalazan
The mark is not just fading, it is anchored to the left wall.

The Dark Arcana Caster
There it is. I can see the residue pattern now. Something passed this way with purpose.

Commander Korth
Good. Show me where it leads, Kalazan. If there is a hidden chamber, I want it named before it moves again.
The orb glides farther in, and for an instant a second sigil flashes deeper in the dark, stamped into the far bend like a warning left behind.

The Dark Arcana Caster
That is not a random mark. It is a relay sign, and there may be more than one hidden branch.
The chamber behind Kalazan stays tense and still, every eye fixed on the hovering light as it hangs on the far bend, where the passage splits into shadow.
