Elias stands in the doorway with the hidden note pinched between his fingers. Thadeus lies still a second longer, listening to the hum of the apartment and the rain ticking at the window.

Elias turns the paper toward Thadeus. The message is short, the handwriting cramped, and one line is underlined twice. Marla stops recording for a beat, eyes shifting to the bedroom window as headlights slide across the blinds.

Listen. Someone's outside.
A soft knock lands at the front door, then another, careful and deliberate. The hallway beyond the apartment stays dark. The Peacebringer flickers brighter in the blue spill, as if reacting to the note in Elias's hand.

That is not a delivery.
Thadeus is already moving toward the hall, the bedroom narrowing behind him into shadow and phone glow. Whatever waits on the other side of the door has found them fast.
“Thadeus goes up to the door and looks through the peephole. Whoever was there appears to be gone now. Thadeus returns his attention to the note Elias found. Thadeus reads through the note. It's a warning - the Revenant know where Thadeus and the group are hiding, and they have to bring Peacebringer to the courthouse, or they will summon creatures to destroy the city, the country, the world.”

Thadeus crosses the hall and leans to the peephole. The lens shows only darkness and a smear of motionless blue from inside the room, then nothing, just the hallway and rain-glossed silence.

He steps back, and Elias lowers the note toward the blue glow. Marla keeps the phone trained on the paper as if it might change shape.
Thadeus reads the cramped lines. It is a warning, the Revenant know this place, they want the Peacebringer brought to the courthouse, and they threaten to unleash something worse if he does not comply.

Elias folds the note carefully, holding onto the edge as if it might tear the room open. Marla looks from Thadeus to the Peacebringer, steadying the phone in both hands.
The apartment stays quiet, but the blue light and the empty peephole make one thing plain, the warning is real, and the choice now sits in front of Thadeus.
