The courthouse hall shakes under the blue pulse of the Peacebringer. Elizabeth stands at the far end of the aisle, one hand over the Talisman at her chest, the other lifted toward the broken stained glass above.

Elizabeth Bathory
You came all this way for an ending. Then choose it carefully.
Marla and Elias hold back near the shattered pews, both staring at the wavering light threading through the room. The Revenant's hold on the city flickers with every beat of the weapon.

Thadeus Jovanović
The Talisman is the anchor. Break that, and the bridge goes with it.

Elias the Shopkeeper
Thadeus, if you can hit the center, do it now.

Marla
Do not let her make this hers. Finish it.
Elizabeth takes one step forward, tense but unflinching, as the blue glow crawls up the walls and the air seems to split around the artifact.

Elizabeth Bathory
If you strike it, the city changes with it. That is the cost.
Thadeus stands at the edge of the aisle, Peacebringer ready, the Talisman and Elizabeth both within reach. The whole hall holds on his next move.
“Thadeus lunges forward, extending the whip towards Elizabeth to crash against her, when she darts away, quickly striking both Elias and Marla with her claws, dropping them both the floor. Thadeus, now panicked, lunges against at Elizabeth, when she strikes him through his chest. Suddenly, Thadeus jolts up from his bed in a cold sweat, murmuring to himself, "Oh god, it was just a dream. Just a dream..." Thadeus then slowly falls back into his pillow, falling back asleep.”

Thadeus jerks awake in bed, drenched in cold sweat. The nightmare is already fading, leaving only his breathing and the dim room around him.

Thadeus Jovanović
Oh god, it was just a dream. Just a dream...
He sinks back into the pillow and slips under again, while the night stays quiet.
