Super Hero Rhapsody: 1975

The lift doors part on a sterile lab, all chrome rails and humming monitors. Doctor Polpovich stands at the center, calm as a judge, while the whole room locks down around him.

Test Number x75 lumbers into the gap first, huge and ready to crush. Test Number x134 slides beside him, needles glinting in her hands, eyes fixed on Sally.

Amilia steps forward, silver skin bright under the lab lights, shoulders squared in a fighter's stance. Devlan stays near the lift, pistol up, watching the corridor and the two hulking guards.

Polpovich flicks his gaze to Sally, then to the monitors behind him, where red-tagged scans and biometric traces link her body to this place. One screen flashes a sealed origin file, open and waiting.

Sally drives her kick into Test Number x75’s center mass. The huge guard folds backward with a heavy clang, boots skidding on chrome, and his arms fly wide as he loses the line to the lift.

Amilia keeps moving with the momentum, using the opening Sally makes. Her shoulder stays low, her eyes locked on the towering body as x75 stumbles into the rail and blocks his own ally for a heartbeat.

x134 lunges in from the right, needles flashing, but the strike is rushed. The chaos from x75’s fall forces her to check her angle, and the sealed origin file keeps glowing on the monitor bank behind Polpovich.

Polpovich does not rush. He watches Sally over x75’s bent shoulder, one hand lifting toward the console as warning lights crawl across the lab walls.

Devlan shifts his aim toward the guards, holding the lift mouth clear while the lab seals tighten. The room hangs on a knife edge, x75 down, x134 exposed, and Polpovich still within reach.
