The Elec Mall doors slide open with a bright chime, and warm air spills over Rosmira and Leon. Inside, polished tile, stacked displays, and humming screens replace the rain-soaked street. Shoppers drift past in easy currents, carrying bags and coffees under white light.

Rosmira
This place smells cleaner than the alley.
Leon glances down at his hoodie, then back at Rosmira. He gives a small, embarrassed shrug, already tugging at the collar as if that will help.

Leon Wolfe
We should get you a phone first, then I change clothes. I do not think my wolf smell is subtle anymore.
A nearby electronics store glows with rows of phones in glass cases, while a clothing shop across the atrium shows mannequins in neat, folded layers. The mall feels open and ordinary, almost generous, as if it is offering them a reset.
Leon slows beside Rosmira, waiting for her lead. For the first time in hours, neither of them is running.

Leon Wolfe
We can breathe here. Which one do you want to try first?
“you go find clothes ill handle the phone. With no money i can just literally charm them them for a free one anyway.”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Charm, rolled -1)
Rosmira gives Leon a quick nod and slips toward the clothing shop, leaving him near the electronics glow. A clerk at the phone counter straightens as she approaches, then keeps glancing at her face as if trying to remember where he has seen her before.

Rosmira
I need a phone, please. A simple one is fine.

Clerk
Of course. For you, this one is on the house.
He slides a sealed box across the glass with a shaky smile, then nudges it open for her. Rosmira takes the phone, and the clerk adds a charging cable too, pretending it is normal to be this generous.
The favor costs him his composure. His badge lanyard is twisted in his fist, and a passing shopper slows, eyeing the pair with mild suspicion.
Rosmira turns back toward the atrium with the new phone in hand. The mall noise seems to lean their way, and Leon is still waiting by the entrance, watching her with open relief.

Leon Wolfe
Did it work?

“yes but i have one call to make first i made a promise. I take out the contact card and dial jews number”
SUCCESS (Good Conversation, rolled +1)

Rosmira lifts the contact card, taps in the number, and brings the phone to her ear. The mall noise softens around her as the call begins to ring.

Jews
Hello? That better be important.

Rosmira
Jews. It’s Rosmira. You said you’d answer.

Jews
Mm, I did. I also remember you kissing first and asking questions later.
Leon pauses a few steps away, giving her space, while the clerk pretends not to listen behind the glass.

Jews
If you are calling to tell me you found trouble again, at least tell me it is the interesting kind.
Rosmira’s phone warms in her palm as Jews’ voice settles into an easy, familiar rhythm, ready to be heard.
“I thank the clerk and walk out the store to leon. I inform jews of what happen after i left her. also i ask if she wanted to go out for a date”
SUCCESS (Good Conversation, rolled -2)

Rosmira lowers the phone and thanks the clerk with a small nod, then slips away from the counter. The free cable brushes against the box in her hand as she turns back toward Leon.

Leon Wolfe
You got it through, then? Good. I was starting to think this mall had eaten us.
She reaches him, and the quiet pocket around them holds. Leon's borrowed clothes are neatly folded in one arm, but the faint wolf scent still trails off them in the warm air.

Rosmira
I found Jews again. I told her what happened after I left her, and she knows I am with you now.

Leon Wolfe
That is a relief. If she is on our side, that changes a lot.

Jews
Mm. And here I thought you were only calling to report trouble. You do make an entrance, Rosmira.

Rosmira
Do you want to go out for a date?

Jews
A date, huh? Ask me when you are not standing in a mall with a borrowed phone and a very suspiciously scented boyfriend nearby.
“well to be fair its not borrowed i got it for free just now. And i thought you didnt mind if i had both of you”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Charm, rolled +4)

Rosmira
Well, to be fair, it is not borrowed. I got it for free just now. And I thought you did not mind if I had both of you.

Jews
Oh, I mind a little, Rosmira. That is different from saying no. You are bold, I will give you that.

Leon Wolfe
Both of us? He blinks, then looks away with an awkward cough, trying not to react too hard.

Jews
For the record, I am not his girlfriend anymore. If you are asking where I stand, it is here, talking to you.

Jews
And that free phone thing, that was clever. You are either very lucky or very good at getting people to say yes.
Leon huffs a quiet laugh, the tension at his shoulders loosening as the mall noise stays politely far away.

Jews
Now, if you want a real answer, ask me properly when your boyfriend is less distractingly scented.
“fine but im stealing two kisses next time for making me wait. Leon you heard her we need to get you a bath so i can hang out with both of you”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Charm, rolled +1)

Rosmira
Fine, I am stealing two kisses next time for making me wait. Leon, you heard her, we need to get you cleaned up so I can enjoy both of you without the wolf scent giving us away.

Jews
That is an image I did not need, but yes, I heard you. You always make things sound like a dare.

Leon Wolfe
I can manage a bath. I was trying to be considerate, not mysterious.
Leon rubs the back of his neck, smiling despite himself, while the clerk at the counter pretends very hard not to listen.

Jews
He is blushing, Rosmira. You really do get away with everything.

Leon Wolfe
I am standing right here.
The warm air around them holds steady, but Leon’s scent still clings to his clothes, faint enough to ignore if no one looks twice.

Jews
Bring him back after the bath, then. I want to see if he is still this flustered when he does not smell like a stray pup.
“not nice you my girl and he his my man. Ill let yall get close but yall both are mine alone not each others”
SUCCESS (Good Willpower, rolled +2)

Rosmira
Not nice. You are my girl, and he is my man. I will let you both get close, but you are both mine alone, not each other’s.

Jews
Oh? That bold little claim just got attention.

Leon Wolfe
Rosmira... is that your way of setting rules, or flirting?
The clerk’s eyes flick up from the counter, then away again, but the phone call has gone very still.

Jews
Fine. I can share the space if I am not mistaken for competition.

Leon Wolfe
And I can live with that, as long as nobody acts like I am fragile.
Leon shifts closer, the tension in his shoulders easing while the wolf scent lingers on his borrowed clothes, softer now, but still there.

Jews
Then bring him back when he is clean, Rosmira. I want the proper version of this conversation.
“fine and you leon get your stamina up your going to need all of it for both of us. now lets go we nedd new clothes and you need a bath.”
SUCCESS (Good Willpower, rolled +1)

Leon Wolfe
Right. New clothes, then a bath. I can do that.
Leon folds his borrowed shirt tighter in his arm and looks to Rosmira for the lead instead of arguing.

Jews
That sounds like a very sensible plan. He does look like he has been dragged through a storm.

Rosmira
You need your stamina up. You are going to need all of it.
The clerk pauses mid-wipe behind the counter, then clears his throat and points down the corridor toward the clothing floor and restrooms.

Leon Wolfe
She is taking charge, and somehow it feels like relief.
Leon gives Rosmira a small nod, already moving when she does, while the phone call hangs on for one last second of silence.

Jews
Go on, both of you. Bring me the cleaned-up version later.
“yea yea and you keep your lips ready for me”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Charm, rolled +1)

Rosmira
Yea, yea, and you keep your lips ready for me.

Jews
Mm. Bossy, adorable. I can do that.
Her smile warms through the phone, and the teasing in her voice turns soft at the edges.

Jews
Go get him cleaned up first. I want the version of him that looks like he belongs beside you.

Rosmira
He really does need the clothes change first.
Leon glances between Rosmira and the corridor, then gives a faint, grateful huff as if the whole call has finally settled him.

Jews
Call me when you are both done. I will answer.
