Jews
Fine. When you get your phone, you come find me. I want the first call.
She slips a card into Rosmira’s hand, her fingers lingering only a second before she steps back into the bar’s shadow.

Rosmira
Rosmira leans in and steals one more quick kiss, soft and sure, before turning toward the neon spill of the street.

Jews
That one is trouble. I like trouble.
Behind Rosmira, the bar door stays shut under Mika’s hand. Ahead, Neon Central glows wet and bright, and every step pulls her farther from the alley, toward Leon’s trail.

Rosmira leaves Pearls Bar behind and arrives at Neon Central.
“fearing the worst i let my wings out and fly to the sky to find leon scent”
SUCCESS (Fair Agility, rolled +0)

Neon Central hits Rosmira like a living tide, rain, engine heat, perfume, and music all tangled together. She lets her wings unfurl, silver and dark against the signage, then lifts above the crowd with one hard beat of air.
From up there, the street breaks into bright lanes and moving shadows. The wet-fur scent threads through it all, thin but distinct, turning her head toward the station side.

Rosmira
There.
She catches the trail cleanly, and with it a second trace, a human sharpness under the rain, a dark coat brushing through the glow below.

Leon Wolfe
Rosmira?
Leon stands half a block ahead on the sidewalk, looking up with startled relief, while heads in the street turn toward the shape overhead.
Rosmira has the scent, the route, and Leon in sight, but the city is watching all of it now.
Rosmira leaves Neon Central behind and arrives at a lone building.
“i yell leon take my arm. i fly by and take us to the room us a lone building”
SUCCESS (Fair Agility, rolled +0)

A narrow service road cuts away from Neon Central to a lone building with dark windows and a buzzer panel half-glowing in the rain. Rosmira lands in the shelter of its overhang, Leon beside her, both of them breathing fast from the flight.

Rosmira
Leon, take my arm.
He grips her offered arm at once, and Rosmira hauls them both through the entrance with a rush of wind. The city noise drops behind the door, leaving only dripping pipes and a faint buzz from inside.

Leon Wolfe
You found me fast. I thought I lost the trail completely.
His eyes flick past her shoulder toward the street, then settle on her with startled relief. The wet-fur scent clings faintly to the threshold outside, but it does not cross the lobby.

Rosmira
The hallway is empty.
Inside, a dim corridor opens to a stairwell and a row of plain doors, one of them already ajar. The building feels temporary, rented, the kind of place people use when they do not want to be remembered.

Leon Wolfe
If we are staying, it should be here. I can tell you who was behind me, but not with the street listening.

“i yell at him for separating but hug him for being alive. i have to tell you while we were separated i meet two more people”
SUCCESS (Fair Conversation, rolled +1)
Rosmira grabs Leon into a rough, relieved hug, then pulls back just enough to scold him for slipping away alone.

Rosmira
You do not get to separate from me like that.
Leon lets out a breath that sounds half-laugh, half-apology, his hands briefly steadying at her back before he releases her.

Leon Wolfe
Fair. I deserved that.
He glances toward the hallway, then back to Rosmira, relief softening into attention as he waits for what she has to say next.

Rosmira
While we were apart, I met two more people.

Leon Wolfe
Two more? Good, bad, or complicated?
The ajar door down the corridor stays open on a dim slice of light, and the city hum presses faintly through the walls while Leon watches her face, ready to listen.
“both vampires one is darth and the orther well his ex wife or gf but she is mine now. i left her as soon as she told me where you were. you owe me by the way i left a hot girl for you.”
SUCCESS (Fair Conversation, rolled +0)

Rosmira leans in close to Leon and lays it out plainly, the vampire, Darath, and the woman who turns out to be his ex all tangled together in the same trail.

Rosmira
I ran into both vampires. One is Darath, and the other, his ex wife or girlfriend, is mine now. I left her as soon as she told me where you were. You owe me, by the way. I left a hot girl for you.

Leon Wolfe
Leon stares at her for a beat, then lets out a stunned, almost disbelieving laugh. "You made that choice for me?"
The joke lands, but only just. His shoulders loosen anyway, and the relief in his face turns sharp with concern as he processes the names.

Leon Wolfe
Darath is the one behind this. He kept showing up near me, asking questions like he already knew the answers.

Leon Wolfe
Jews did tell you where I was, then. That means she chose a side, at least for tonight.
Outside the closed door, the city’s glow spills through the crack in muted bands, and Leon watches Rosmira with fresh attention, waiting to hear exactly how far that loyalty goes.
