Morning light thins across the hotel room. Leon is still curled nearby, and Jews lounges with tired amusement while Rosmira notices a glossy flyer pinned to the door frame.

Jews

Jews

That was a very long night. If Darath is hunting Leon, we should get him out of the city before he gets bolder.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

I do not want to drag either of you into this forever. If leaving helps, I am ready.

Rosmira

Rosmira

Rosmira says they can use the hotel’s reputation for one more night, then move Leon somewhere safer.

Jews

Jews

Then let’s make the night useful first. I saw this flyer for Stars Restaurant. They want couples, they pour love into the food, and the manager owes me a favor.

Jews

Jews

Take Leon there, keep him hidden in plain sight, and bring back a stamped reservation slip. I will pay you with a room upgrade, a clean exit route, and one bottle of sealed resonance.

Leon glances between them, relieved and embarrassed all at once, while the flyer catches the light like a promise.

Rosmira

Rosmira

How about all of us go. Let’s face it, I smell like trouble, and you two are already tangled up in this with me. Leon, good job handling both of us last night. Jews, you tasted amazing.

Jews

Jews

That is one way to ask for company. I am in, if only to see whether this restaurant can survive us.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

If we go together, I can do that. I would rather be seen with you than hiding alone.

She is reckless, but she makes the room feel less afraid. That counts for something.

Leon laughs under his breath, half mortified and half relieved, while Jews lifts a brow with a pleased, measuring look. The flyer shifts as Rosmira’s fingers brush it, and the paper leaves a faint smudge of hotel lamp warmth.

Jews reaches for her purse, then pauses and taps the bedspread once. The room settles into a new question, not whether they go, but whether Stars Restaurant is a cover worth trusting or a polished trap waiting with smiles.

A pen uncaps softly offscreen, and the reservation slip is not yet in hand. Jews leans back with a small, testing smile, inviting Rosmira and Leon to decide how bold they want to be.

I call Stars Restaurant for a reservation and watch jews and leon make out while i make the call

SUCCESS (Good Conversation, rolled +1)

Rosmira dials the restaurant while the room dims into an intimate hush. On the bed, Jews turns toward Leon with a slow, knowing smile.

Leon answers her first with a laugh that breaks into a kiss, and the two of them fold together beside the rumpled blanket. Rosmira keeps the phone to her ear, watching them from the corner of her eye.

Stars Restaurant reservations, how may we assist you?

Rosmira

Rosmira

I need a table for three, tonight.

Stars Restaurant

Stars Restaurant

Three, yes. Name and preferred arrival time?

Jews and Leon kiss again, unhurried now, while Rosmira gives the details. The line stays crisp, polite, almost too polished for comfort.

Stars Restaurant

Stars Restaurant

Understood. Your reservation is held. A stamped slip is ready at reception for pickup.

Jews breaks from Leon just long enough to glance toward Rosmira, amused and sharp. The question hangs in the room, whether the restaurant is offering shelter, or smiling through the door at all three of them.

I go pick up the stamped slip leaving them in the room for a bit. Something tells me going back it will just smell like sex and wet fur. Cant lie im jealous but i did give them the ok,

Rosmira slips out into the hall, the door easing shut behind her with a soft click. The room’s warmth and tangled laughter stay muffled on the other side.

Down the corridor, the hotel’s carpet swallows her steps. The elevator waits with its little mirrored panel, and the reception desk glows at the end of the hall.

At the desk, the clerk looks up, startles, then straightens too quickly. His hands are already reaching for a neat white slip with a fresh stamp pressed into the corner.

He slides it across before she even asks, careful not to meet her eyes for long. The pen in his other hand trembles once, then stills.

Rosmira

Rosmira

Rosmira takes the slip and gives the clerk a brief, polite nod.

The paper is warm from the printer, the stamp dark and crisp. The clerk’s expression stays fixed, obedient in a way that feels a little too eager.

Rosmira turns back toward the elevator with the reservation slip in hand, while the quiet behind her suggests the room above is still very much occupied.

I ask the clerk if the restaurant is safe before leaving to make sure its a good spot

SUCCESS (Great Conversation, rolled +1)

Rosmira

Rosmira

Rosmira asks if the restaurant is actually safe, or if it is the kind of place that gets people watched.

Clerk

He swallows, then shakes his head. “Safe enough, if you look like you belong. They prefer a polished crowd and quiet manners.”

Clerk

Clerk

“If you mean hidden, no,” he adds in a lower voice. “But it is crowded, expensive, and nobody wants a scene there.”

The clerk’s eyes flick to the stamped slip in her hand, then away, as if the paper itself settles the matter for him.

Clerk

Clerk

“If someone is following you, the room may be a better trap than the dining floor,” he says, careful and oddly sincere. “At the restaurant, people will be too busy watching themselves.”

Down the hall, a door closes somewhere softly, and the corridor stays calm. The question shifts from whether the place is pleasant to whether it gives them cover.

Clerk

Clerk

“Would you like me to mark the easiest arrival time, so you can go in with the lunch crowd?”

I nod to the clerk and ask him to mark the best time for our arrival.

Rosmira gives the clerk a small nod, and the tension in his shoulders eases at once. He takes the slip, flips it over, and marks a time in neat, hurried strokes.

Clerk

Clerk

Lunch crowd. Safer for you, less attention from staff. Come just after the first rush, and the room will be busy enough to hide in.

He slides the paper back to her, but the corner catches on his cuff and tears a thin strip from the edge. The damage is tiny, yet his face goes pale with worry.

Clerk

Clerk

Sorry. It still reads fine, but if anyone inspects it closely, they will see it has been handled.

Rosmira

Rosmira

Handled.

From the room beyond, a faint sound of movement brushes the closed door, then stops. The corridor stays quiet, but the clerk’s eyes flick that way before returning to Rosmira.

Clerk

Clerk

If you go now, you can go in looking ordinary. If you wait, I can remake the copy, but someone upstairs may notice me at the printer.
