Rosmira and Leon step out of the fitting corridor and into a quieter side concourse. The mall opens into a bright atrium of glass railings, polished tile, and hanging neon signs, with pop music humming under the echo of footsteps.
Ahead, the clerk waits near an electronics kiosk, half-hidden by stacked display boxes. He looks relieved to see them arrive, and keeps glancing toward the hallway like he wants the whole evening to stay calm.

Rosmira
Rosmira lets the change in scenery settle in and heads for the kiosk.

Clerk
The fitting area is ready if you still need it. I can also point you to a quieter exit, if that helps.
Leon lingers beside Rosmira, freshly dressed and still a little tense, his eyes scanning the atrium. A nearby escalator carries shoppers upward while the mall lights gleam across the floor like spilled silver.

Leon Wolfe
If we are moving again, I would rather stay close to you.
Rosmira leaves Elec Mall behind and arrives at hotel.
“well finish changing and we will leave after im ready to call this a night and head to the hotel”
SUCCESS (Fair Agility, rolled -1)

The hotel lobby is all pale stone, muted brass, and too-soft carpeting, quiet enough that their footsteps seem rude. A clerk behind the desk barely looks up until Rosmira and Leon reach the check-in line.

Clerk
Welcome. Room name?
Rosmira finishes the last of the clothing change from the corridor and smooths the moment into place, while Leon waits beside her with a careful, newly dressed stillness.

Rosmira
We need one room for the night.

Clerk
Identification, please.
The clerk’s polite tone thins as Leon shifts under the lights. His nostrils flare once, and the easy boredom on his face tightens into suspicion.

Clerk
...You two are not staying here.
“ill try charming him and see if it works”
FAILURE (Mediocre Charm, rolled -2)

Rosmira lets her smile soften, just enough to invite mercy into the clerk’s posture.

Rosmira
We are only asking for a room.
The clerk’s eyes flick over Leon again, then away. The suspicion does not melt, it hardens into procedure.

Clerk
No. Not with him here.
Leon goes still beside her, jaw tight, trying not to make the rejection worse. The lobby suddenly feels smaller, every polished surface reflecting the refusal back at them.

Clerk
If you want privacy, take it somewhere else. I am not renting a room to whatever he is.
His hand stays on the desk phone, not calling yet, but ready. The clerk’s gaze returns to Rosmira, wary now, like he recognizes her face without understanding why.
“lets try this again. Stare into my eyes mortal. you want to let us stay the night without any problems right?”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Charm, rolled +1)
Rosmira leans in with a quiet, steady confidence, and the clerk’s defensive posture loosens a notch.

Rosmira
Let us try this again. Look into my eyes, and you want to let us stay the night without any trouble.
The clerk blinks, then swallows. His hand slides off the phone as if it suddenly weighs too much.

Clerk
Why was I so certain they were trouble...?

Clerk
Right. Yes. A room. One room, quiet side of the hall.
Leon exhales beside her, shoulders easing at last as the clerk reaches for the key card.

Leon Wolfe
She did it again. I can breathe now.
The clerk avoids Rosmira’s gaze, but his voice turns almost careful, as if he is suddenly trying to be polite to the right people.

Clerk
Check-in is approved. No disturbances, and keep the hallway quiet.

“good thank you we will head up to our rooms now on the top floor. Oh and we have one guess coming pink hair send her up when she arrives. come leon lets see our room and order food.”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Charm, rolled +2)

Rosmira takes the key card with a small nod, and the clerk’s hand retreats from it like he is afraid to keep touching anything that belongs to her.

Rosmira
Good, thank you. We will head up to our room now.

Rosmira
And we have one guest coming, pink hair. Send her up when she arrives.
The clerk’s mouth tightens, but he accepts the instruction without argument.
Leon falls into step beside Rosmira as they move away from the desk, his shoulders loose for the first time since entering the lobby.

Rosmira
Come, Leon. Let us see our room and order food.
The clerk watches them go, key card in hand, while the lobby’s quiet hum settles around their backs and the hallway waits beyond the desk.
“ill text jews while we head up im starving after today”
SUCCESS (Fair Agility, rolled +1)
