The marsh lane erupts with light. From the drow line, a caster thrusts up a bright spell, and every loose arrow in the air blooms with glowing menace.
A tall young high elf steps out from the tree line, warding himself and the archers beside him as he starts a long, focused spell.
Behind the ward, allied elves loose magic missiles, and the dark marsh fills with searing stars.

Kamakulzar
The bone-mark answers that flash.
Kamakulzar feels the pulse under his skin tighten, as if the bone spirits hear the spellwork and lean closer.
The drow scramble under their own glowing fire, the elves hold their ward, and the whole kill lane hangs on the edge of collapse.
The bright surge in the marsh tugs at Kamakulzar's mark again, as if choosing a direction for him. The fight opens wide enough for him to seize it, if he moves first.
“This is not my fight i think and run away”
SUCCESS (Great Agility, rolled +1)

Kamakulzar turns away from the spellfire and cuts hard across the marsh edge, his boots and bare skin skimming mud where the lane thins into reeds. The bone-mark’s pull fades behind him, swallowed by the crash of rival magic.
The glowing arrows keep hissing over his shoulder, but none land. He slips past a torn mat of rushes and reaches the darker fringe beyond the kill lane, where the fighting becomes a jittering glare in the distance.
The high elf’s ward still holds, the drow line still spits back, and the spellstorm stays locked on itself. Kamakulzar is out of the center of it now, unmarked by fresh fire and free of the immediate crossfire.
From the churn behind him, the Wanderer’s sudden shape shifts among the combatants, hard to pin down in the flashing light. The others keep pressing, but their attention no longer sits on Kamakulzar.
The marsh ahead opens into a narrow, reed-choked run, quieter and darker than the lane he leaves behind. The trail of stone dust lies faintly in the muck, and the bone-mark settles to a dull pulse.

The Elf
Keep your ward tight. Do not let the brute circle back!
Their voices fade into the reeds as Kamakulzar gains the break in the marsh, the battle now behind him and the next choice waiting ahead.
