Zhurrem knifes down toward the Iron Spire, bronze scales blazing against the frozen fog. The stone peak looms larger, black with old rot and crusted with the necrotic lattice below.
He lands hard enough to shake the summit, and his roar rolls through the spire like thunder. A wave of anti-evil light spills outward, peeling at the corruption clinging to the base.
Kamakulzar clings to his back and feels the bone-mark in his hand pulse in ugly answer. The mark hurts, then surges, as if the spire is answering the same wound.

Zhurrem
Grunt, then push. It hates this place.
The warding light bites deeper into the lattice, and the Iron Spire groans. Frost cracks, black residue shivers loose, and the buried anchoring point is briefly exposed.
Far below the broken summit, the necrotic lines tighten again, still trying to fasten the entity into shape. The trio’s tethering magic flickers near the rim, reaching for Kamakulzar even as Zhurrem’s glow burns it back.
“I check my waistline for plant i foraged and tucked in there that aids mana when consumed restores mana and spirit”
SUCCESS (Good Perception, rolled +1)

Kamakulzar drops one hand from Zhurrem’s back and pats along his waistline, fingers sweeping through fur and gear until they catch a tucked bundle. The plant is there, compressed and cold against his side.

Kamakulzar
There it is.
He draws it free, a small foraged cluster pinched between dark nails, its leaves crushed but intact. The motion leaves his frostbitten hand smoking faintly in the spire chill.

Zhurrem
Good. Keep it close.
Below them, the anti-evil light keeps burning at the lattice, and the necrotic anchor quivers where it has been exposed. The trio’s tethering strands twitch and tighten, still trying to catch purchase.

The Hooded Figure
Hold the line. Do not let him feed.
The Iron Spire gives another rhythmic pulse through the stone, like a slow heart under strain, while frost creeps over the broken rim and the widened breach gapes open to the cold.
+ New Item Acquired
Mana-restoring plant
“I eat it”
SUCCESS (Great Health, rolled -1)

Kamakulzar bites into the plant. Bitter sap bursts across his tongue, sharp as pine ash, and the smoked sting in his hand eases at once.

Kamakulzar
The juice is cold.
Heat returns to his frostbitten fingers in a thin, prickling wave, but the taste scrapes rough down his throat and steals his breath for a moment.

Zhurrem
Good. Hold that strength.
The Hooded Figure jerks their wrist, and the tethering strands whip harder around the exposed anchor. Frost spiders faster across the broken rim, answering the strain.

The Second Cloaked Figure
Bind it now. The light is weakening.
Under the spire’s pulse, the cracked lattice shudders open wider, and the anti-evil glow burns hotter along the seam, as if deciding whether to shatter or solidify.
“I check my boot for my rolled up in cloth rare, red warm wreath berries that i found foraging, they strongly restrore but are hard to maintain and hard to come by, for most.”
SUCCESS (Good Perception, rolled +0)

Kamakulzar drops his gaze to his boot and hooks two fingers under the rough wrap inside it. The cloth is damp with marsh cold, but the bundle is still there.

Kamakulzar
The berries are still warm.
He draws out the rolled cloth, and the red wreath berries inside give off a faint heat against his palm, bright against the frost and bloodless light.
The warmth steadies his smoking hand at once, but the cloth comes apart at the seam, and one berry crushes under his thumb, staining his fingers deep red.

Zhurrem
Keep them close. The summit is testing what you carry.

The Hooded Figure
The demon is feeding itself. Cut the tether while the light still answers.
Below them, the cracked lattice flashes once, hard and white, then shudders under the strain. The frost climbs the rim faster, and the breach waits open for the next pulse.
+ New Item Acquired
Rolled cloth bundle of red wreath berrie
“I rub the already crushed berry over the taint bothering my body”
SUCCESS (Great Arcana, rolled +2)

Kamakulzar drags the crushed berry across the blackened taint on his hand. The heat of it wakes under his skin, then sinks in, and the smoking ache loosens at once.

Kamakulzar
The stain is fading.
Red warmth spreads through his palm, chasing out the bite of frost. The bone-mark dulls from a raw pulse to a steady throb.

Zhurrem
Good. The mark flinches when it cannot feed.

The Hooded Figure
No, hold the line, the tether weakens.
Above the spire, the cracked lattice flashes white, then answers with a hard crack of light. One seam along the rim spits frost outward, and the summit shudders under the backlash.
For a breath, the necrotic pull falters. The wreath heat in Kamakulzar's hand and Zhurrem's glare force the breach to choose, and the hidden anchor starts to give.
“I cast a seering divine light orb directed at the lattice”
SUCCESS (Great Arcana, rolled -1)

Kamakulzar thrusts his palm toward the lattice and a searing orb of divine light blooms from his hand, white-hot and clean against the marsh-dark sky.
The blast strikes true. The cracked anchor seam flashes, then gives way with a hard crack that runs through the spire rim, and frost erupts outward in a blinding spray.

Zhurrem
There. The lattice is breaking apart.
The Hooded Figure jerks back as the tether stutters, cloak snapping in the wind. The Second Cloaked Figure shoves both hands forward to hold the pattern together, but the magic buckles under the holy flare.

The Hooded Figure
Hold it. Do not let the strike finish the break.
Heat tears through Kamakulzar's smoking hand as the orb gutters out. For a breath, the anchor seam lies exposed and trembling, the spire pulsing hard enough to shake loose more frost from the rim.

The Third Cloaked Figure
It is opening, not sealing. Push the mark now!
