Tuiwen remains beside the route map, Thranduil’s opened letter in her hand. Radagast and Calion stand with the three gathered Woodmen as the russet hedge stirs.
A grey-cloaked elder wizard steps through from the western road, rain silvering his weathered hat and beard. Gandalf carries a sealed packet and a leather-bound account beneath one arm.
Gandalf
Radagast. Tuiwen. I bring the White Council’s answer, and the names of those who have committed aid.
Gandalf sets the packet beside Thranduil’s letter and breaks its outer seal. The Woodmen lean inward, while Calion keeps one hand near the royal map and watches the hedge.
Gandalf
Galadriel and Elrond pledge wardens, provisions, and counsel. Círdan sends ships’ stores and coin, though he cannot spare an armed host. Gandalf will come himself if the roads permit.
Radagast the Brown
Then the Council has heard the Woodmen’s need, not merely the danger. Their aid can meet Thranduil’s escorts at the western ridge.
The Woodmen exchange wary relief. Gandalf unfolds the account of committed aid across the marked routes, leaving its final column open for Tuiwen’s judgment and the first march.
“"Just a moment while I report to my father." She writes a report informing of her plan the the White Council's support and gives it to the courier.”

Tuiwen
Just a moment while I report to my father.
Tuiwen borrows a fresh sheet and ink from Radagast’s table, then writes Thranduil a concise report: the plan for the southern settlements, the hidden routes, and the White Council’s pledged support.
The work takes longer than she intended as she checks each commitment against Gandalf’s account. One uncertainty remains: Círdan’s aid is valuable, but no arrival date can be promised.
Tuiwen folds the report, seals it with a plain mark, and carries it across the crowded room to the waiting courier.
Tuiwen
Carry this to my father. It reports our plan and the White Council’s support.
Calion
I will place it in the king’s hands before any other packet. He shall know what aid is pledged and where it must go.
