The Galadhrim healer leads Tuiwen and Eldred into a higher bower, where Galadriel awaits beside a basin of silver water. The wardens remain at the entrance.
Galadriel
The darkness is not within the wound alone. It is a splinter of Saruman’s will, seeking the old paths of your spirit and the western ward.
Galadriel places two fingers above the bandage. Her light does not force the corruption outward; it surrounds the gray line and reveals its hidden knot.
Galadriel
Be still. I will sever only what does not belong to you, and leave your strength untouched.
A thread of shadow rises from Tuiwen’s shoulder into Galadriel’s waiting palm. It twists once toward the western trees, then breaks beneath a quiet flash of silver light.
the Galadhrim healer
The corruption is gone. The wound remains, but it is clean enough to heal without feeding the darkness.
Galadriel
You may continue toward Rhosgobel when your body permits. Eldred may accompany you, and Lothlórien will uphold your lawful passage and warning.

Have Galadriel identify and sever the corruption in Tuiwen’s wound
“Tuiwen kneels before her. "You have my eternal gratitude."”
SUCCESS (Legendary Diplomacy, rolled +1)
Tuiwen kneels before Galadriel, careful of the shoulder bound in cool linen and silver dust. The basin’s light rests quietly between them.
Tuiwen
You have my eternal gratitude.
Galadriel
Rise, Tuiwen. Gratitude is a gentle gift, but you have already given the greater one: steadfastness when darkness sought to turn you.
Galadriel offers her hand and draws Tuiwen up. The silver water clears, reflecting an unbroken face and the calm boughs of Lothlórien beyond.
Galadriel
Your warning has reached the Council, and your father shall hear that you endured. Carry no debt in your heart. Carry the truth.
the Galadhrim healer
The wound will heal if you spare it needless strain. Rest here until the wardens prepare the western crossing.
Eldred
Then we will go when the road is ready, Princess. I will bear witness to what Lothlórien has granted us.
Beyond the bower, wardens raise the hidden bridge toward the Anduin. Tuiwen’s path leads onward to Rhosgobel and Thranduil, but Saruman’s shadow no longer governs its direction.
Silver light withdrew from the wound. The Galadhrim healer laid a steady hand over the clean scar and bowed.
Galadriel
The shadow is severed. Your warning has reached the Council, and it will reach Thranduil.
the Galadhrim healer
Rest now. When your strength returns, the western crossing will be ready.
Tuiwen
Then I will carry it onward. No false voice will speak for me again.
Eldred
Nor will you walk alone. I will go with you, and bear witness.
Beyond the bower, the wardens raised the hidden bridge toward the Anduin.
Under Lothlórien’s protection, Tuiwen’s path to Rhosgobel lay open at last. Saruman’s will had been torn from her wound, and the warning now traveled by lawful hands toward those who could answer it. As the golden boughs stirred above her, she rested, healed enough to continue, while Eldred kept faithful watch.
