The throne room reels in the wake of the shattered pillar. Ozone stings the air, and the violet drain is gone at last. Hades stands free beside the dais, and the three Titans edge backward, weapons up, suddenly less certain.

Titan One
The king falls with his throne. Push them back.
Ares squares his shoulders between Hades and the Titans, blade humming with spent power. The nearest Titan lunges, trying to force the line apart before Hades can fully reclaim the room.

Ares
They are retreating, not routing.

Hades
Hold the center, Ares. Do not let them reach the dais again.
One Titan throws a desperate violet burst toward the throne, but the blow sputters weakly against the broken wards. Hades lifts a hand and the chamber answers, shadows gathering under his command.

Thanatos
Their hold is failing. Drive them out now, before they find another anchor.
The Titans falter, glancing toward the side passages and the dark beyond the throne room. If they escape, the Underworld remains wounded. If Ares presses them here, the usurpation ends at once.

✓ Quest Accepted
Force the Titans back into Tartarus
“Can Hades seal the throne room exits once I force the Titans into the dark?”
YES (VeryLikely, rolled 61)

Ares
If I drive them toward the archways, the shadows will do the rest.

Hades
Push them, Ares. Once they cross the threshold, I shall ensure the gates remain closed to them forever.
undefined / undefined

The Titans hit the archways hard, but the shadows are already thickening there, turning the exits into living walls. They recoil as Hades seizes the chamber’s darkness, and the throne room feels its breath return.

Titan One
No. The shadows are answering him.

Titan Two
Then we do not stay to be buried.
One Titan lunges for a seam between the bars of dark, only to find the opening narrowing. Another slips, loses footing, and vanishes behind the coalescing black. Thanatos steps in beside Ares, tense and ready, watching the retreat collapse into panic.

Titan Three
Lord of the Dead, hear me. We were not the only claim on this throne.
For a heartbeat, the dim room catches on that warning. Somewhere beyond the throne room, a faint violet pulse flickers and dies, as if something deeper in the Underworld has noticed the battle and gone still.
“I press the Titans into the shadows”
SUCCESS (Legendary Strength, rolled -1)

Ares lowers his shoulder and drives forward. His shield bites into the nearest Titan’s retreat, and the shadow wall behind them swallows the pressure, bending hard under his force.
Titan One stumbles into the dark barrier and is flung sideways, vanishing through the sealed archway as the shadows clamp shut after him.
Titan Two throws an arm out for balance, but the closing black takes his footing. He slides, catches nothing, and is forced back into the dark with a strangled cry.
Thanatos watches from Ares’ side, his posture easing by a fraction as the chamber’s panic gives way to command.
Titan Three recoils, staring past Ares as if the room itself has become a grave. His voice cracks on the last of his warning, then dies in the shadows.

Hades
Enough. The throne room is mine again.
The last of the Titans are gone from view, and the sealed archways stand black and still. Far below, a faint violet pulse stirs once, then goes quiet.
