Under the flickering canopy light, Thadeus keeps Peacebringer hidden in his pocket and guides Elias's truck toward the storage unit.
He stops before the reinforced padlock, and the blue hum in his pocket answers his focus like it is listening.
Peacebringer shifts, its glow bleeding into the lock, then narrowing into the shape of an ordinary pen as Thadeus works the mechanism.
The padlock gives with a soft click. Elizabeth watches from beside him, eyes widening as the disguise settles in his hand.

So that is how he gets past doors that should stay closed.
Inside, the first answered question hits harder than the lock. Stars of Divinity is not a rumor or a cover company, it is the organized hand behind Victor Hale, Knight's End, and Elias's paper trail.

Find Elias's hidden artifact
“Opening the storage unit, Thadeus sees a cornucopia of boxes filled with various electronic parts, some retro and old, some modern and new. Near the back of the unit, a reflection of light catches his attention. As he gets closer, he recognizes it. It's the Holy Cross - both artifacts and weapon, it behaves like a boomerang, being able to cut through its targets. It was given to Elias by Trevor when he briefly was brought to our reality. Thadeus picks it up to show Elizabeth.”
SUCCESS (Legendary Agility, rolled +1)
Thadeus swings the door wide, and the unit coughs out a stale breath of dust and oil.
Boxes crowd the space, stacked to the ceiling with wire bundles, circuit boards, old radios, and newer sealed components.
Thadeus Jovanović
This is where Elias hid the trail.
He steps in deeper, and a thin flash catches on the back wall, tucked behind a tower of labeled bins.
Thadeus reaches past the boxes and lifts out the Holy Cross, its polished edges flashing once in the dim unit light.
Elizabeth Bathory
Trevor gave that to Elias?
Thadeus turns back toward her and shows it in his palm, the shape unmistakable and dangerous.
Elizabeth leans in, eyes locked on the artifact, while the canopy light outside flickers hard enough to throw their shadows across the open door.
