This place is not empty. It only looks that way.
A line of fresh boot prints cuts across the sand near a collapsed stairwell, then vanishes beneath a drift. Someone has been here recently.

Slaan
The prints are fresh.
Bram lifts a hand and points toward a dark opening under the rear wall, where old stone has fallen away into a narrow chamber. The records at Slaan's side seem to tug the night toward it.
