After the Southern Isles victory, Kael remains in the lush palace gardens, his star-flecked black armor gleaming between flowering trees. The fleet and marines are far beyond the walls, while Bliss settles into peace.
A pale, radiant woman approaches along the garden path. Her long blonde hair spills over a white gown, and her clear blue eyes hold the weight of ages.
Svetlana
Kael. I have crossed the ages to find you. During the war that destroyed gods and worlds, you saved me, and the wound you suffered for me never left my memory.
She stops beneath a flowering bough, studying the familiar armor as though its stars are an old sky. The garden’s fragrance deepens, and the leaves stir without wind.
Svetlana
I am Svetlana, goddess of love and fertility, though I was not born to this world. I have believed through every century that we were meant to be together.
Svetlana
Walk with me, Kael. Tell me what you remember of that forgotten war, and what ruling Bliss means to you now. Perhaps your answers will awaken what time buried between us.
Svetlana, an adult woman with a slender build, turns toward a winding path beneath silver-leaved trees, leaving the invitation open. Somewhere beyond the garden, a fountain begins to sing a melody Kael almost recognizes.

Learn the truth of Svetlana's bond with Kael
“Svetlana tells Kael of the ancient war in which he was wounded saving her. He slew those that wounded him and saved her, but he lost memory after the battle and was cast down into the mortal realm, into another universe entirely. She did not know him before the battle, but she believes they are linked together now, sharing a common bond. She also expresses that though her old pantheon was destroyed, she would like to make a new pantheon, with Kael.”
SUCCESS (Good Diplomacy, rolled -1)
Kael walks beside Svetlana beneath the silver-leaved trees. Her account unfolds in solemn fragments: the ancient war, his wound, the enemies he slew, and the moment he vanished into another universe.
Svetlana
You saved me when we had only just met. You destroyed those who wounded you, but the battle took your memory and cast you far beyond my reach.
Kael’s Shadow-Court Insight recognizes the shape beneath her grief: Svetlana is offering her love, a shared history, understanding, and a potential mate, but she desires a place beside his throne, not just another one of his wives.
Svetlana
I did not know you before that war. I cannot pretend otherwise. Yet what passed between us made a bond neither time nor space could stop.
At the fountain, Kael gives her his full attention and extends his authority toward her proposal: the forgotten gods will not define Bliss, but a new pantheon can begin here.
Svetlana
Then let us build it together. I will stand beside you as its goddess of Love and Fertility, if you grant me the first seat among your divine wives. We shall create a new pantheon.
The agreement is sealed with a kiss. Svetlana accepts Kael as the center of a new pantheon, and the two walk off together with hand joined in hand.
