The house trembles under a fresh wave of pounding from outside. In the dim living room, the worn map lies open on the coffee table, pinned by a bat and a flashlight. Benjamin stands with the others in the half-light, and every boarded window feels one удар away from giving up.

Jenny
They found us again. Just tell me where to watch, Benjamin.

Louis
Front is the loudest, but the back fence is weakening. We need hands on both ends.

Mara Miller
Give us boards, nails, anything. We are not losing this place.

Dane
If this holds, we all hold. If it fails, there is nowhere left to run.

Elias
Tell me the weak points. I will take the inventory and keep people moving.
A crash shudders through the far wall. Dust shakes loose from the ceiling. Outside, the undead keep pressing, a wavering crowd against the darkened glass and nailed wood.
Benjamin has the house, the map, and everyone’s eyes on him. One order, one choice, and the fortress either hardens or breaks.
“I assign each survivor to their own space within the house and prepare to make a stand.”
SUCCESS (Legendary Leadership, rolled +1)

Benjamin snaps the room into shape with a few sharp words, and the chaos in the living room gives way to purpose. The map is folded back, the flashlight is passed off, and every body turns to the task he gives them.

Benjamin
Front, back, windows, tools. Keep everyone where they can see and be seen.

Jenny
I take the front windows and the hallway. Nothing gets past me.

Louis
I am on the back fence and the side boards. Call if you need me moving.

Mara Miller
I will work the spare lumber and keep the living room clear.

Dane
I am on the stairs and the dark corners. If anything slips inside, I will catch it.

Elias
I will track supplies and keep the tools moving where they are needed.
They split at once, not drifting, but locking into place. Jenny posts by the front, Louis heads for the rear, Mara claims the boards, Dane takes the center line, and Elias starts sorting nails and light into hand-to-hand work.
Another удар thumps through the wall, but the house answers with a new rhythm, people stationed, corners watched, and Benjamin at the center of it all.

The living room hardened into a perimeter, chairs shoved back, windows barred, hands busy and sure.

Benjamin
Positions hold. Nobody drifts. We keep this place ours.

Jenny
Got it. I am not letting them through that window.

Louis
Then I will keep the door honest.

Mara Miller
Good. For once, we look like a team.
Outside, the dead pressed and rattled the house, but inside the plan held.
By dawn, Benjamin and the others had turned a refuge into a fortress of breath and blood and will. The house still stood, scarred but claimed, with every survivor in place and no one alone. The siege had not ended, but this chapter did: with the line held, and the home still theirs.
