The shrine is hushed at last. Violet cracks in the altar have faded to a steady, royal-black pulse, and the Vaelith crown hangs in the air between Tululu and Navana like a held breath. The mountain itself seems to wait.

Navana

Navana

If it feeds, let it feed on me first. If it crowns her, let it crown her cleanly.

Tululu

The bond is stable. It still hungers.

Valerius stands a few paces back, reverent and tense, while Kaelith keeps a solemn watch over the altar seam. The Ash and Gold Dragon lowers its head, gold light rippling along its scales in warning.

Valerius

Valerius

The rite holds. Queen Tululu, the mountain acknowledges you.

Kaelith

Kaelith

The vow is living. The crown is bound. What remains is how you bear its hunger.

The black sigil brightens once, then settles against Tululu's blades and Navana's chest in a shared pulse. The air grows warm, then still again. The path forward is hers alone.

Tululu lifts her chin and lets the proclamation ring through the ruined shrine. The royal-black pulse answers at once, brightening beneath the cracked altar as if the stones themselves kneel.

Tululu

Tululu

By blood, vow, and will, I claim the coronation.

The words land cleanly. The crown’s hunger quiets inside the bound sigil, and the air in the shrine settles into a deep, listening hush.

Valerius

Then it is witnessed. Tululu is crowned in truth, and the mountain knows her name.

Kaelith

Kaelith

The rite is complete. The cost remains, but the claim is sealed.

Navana

Navana

Let the court hear it. I stand as her living vow, and I do not break.

The Ash and Gold Dragon lowers its head until its horn nearly touches the stone, a final sign of assent. Dust drifts from the shattered arch above, and the shrine’s black pulse steadies into a lasting, sovereign glow.

No voice contests her now. The mountain, the vow, and the crown all settle into obedience, and Tululu stands crowned in the silence that follows.

The Vaelith Crown Bound

The shrine fell silent as the crown settled. Ash and gold light dimmed to a steady ember.

Valerius

Valerius

It is done. Vaelith has its queen.

Kaelith

Kaelith

The hunger sleeps. For now, that is enough.

Navana

Navana

Then let it sleep beside us. Together.

Tululu

I will wear it. I will bear it. Vaelith shall not be hungry in vain.

The great head bowed once, solemn and bright in the ruin's hush.

So Tululu stood crowned in the broken heart of Vaelith, queen by rite and by will. The mountain’s hunger was stilled, bound into a shared vow that would ask its due in time. For that night, at least, the realm had a ruler, and the ruin became a throne.
