Navana lifts a hand at the hall’s heart, and the crystal floor answers him with a low, mountain-deep hum. Spirit-light climbs his body, braiding into a mantle of sigils as he speaks Tululu’s decrees in a steady, ringing voice.

Navana
By Tululu’s will, the hall is to stand open to her allies, and closed to those who would test her claim.
The courtiers still themselves. The Elven Emissary bows their head at once, relieved. The Noble pales, caught between obedience and fear. Near the periphery, The Warden watches without moving, unreadable as carved stone.
Tululu stands in the wash of green-gold light, spell blades quiet at their sides. The mantle on Navana’s shoulders gleams brighter, as if the mountain itself is lending the words weight.

Kaelith
The rite holds. His autonomy is real, but so is her claim.
Navana turns slightly toward Tululu, waiting for the smallest sign to continue. Around them, the chamber’s roots throb once, like a heart listening for its next command.
✓ Quest Accepted
Secure the hall for Tululu’s allies
“Create a magical fighting ring. This is the royals one final chance to fight my authority. Offer them a chance at one on one combat with myself. If none choose to fight they will all submit to my rule.”
SUCCESS (Legendary Magic, rolled -1)

Tululu answers with a flick of spell-light, and the hall obeys. A circle of fire and crystal blooms across the floor, its edge raised like a dueling ring, bright enough to turn every shadow into a witness.

Tululu
This is your final chance. One at a time, you may test my authority. If none step forward, you submit.
The ring tightens with a soft chime, then steadies, sealing the offer into the stones. The banners above rustle once, as if the mountain itself is taking sides.

The Noble
A single combat trial... and if no one rises, the verdict is already written.

Valerius
A clean challenge. A lawful claim. The hall will remember this.

Kaelith
The rite holds, and the terms are plain. Any refusal now is consent.
Navana lowers his hand, the sigil-mantle on his shoulders flaring once in silent approval. No one steps into the ring, yet all eyes remain fixed on Tululu, waiting for the first challenger to condemn themselves or the court to yield.
“Does anyone challenge me?”
NO (VeryUnlikely, rolled 53)
The silence in the hall stretches, heavy and absolute, as the court remains frozen behind the shimmering barrier. No blade is drawn, and no voice rises to contest the princess.

Valerius
The silence is your answer, my Queen. I am called Valerius, and I have waited lifetimes to see a ruler who commands the mountain's own light.

Kaelith
I am Kaelith. The oath is satisfied, and the mountain recognizes its sovereign. We serve the bloodline that finally chose to heal rather than hide.
“Put away my spell blades and proclaim a celebration in our of my official coronation.”
SUCCESS (Good Willpower, rolled -2)

Tululu lowers both spell blades in a smooth, ceremonial motion. The dark shimmer around the hilts folds inward, then vanishes as the weapons are put away at her sides.
The golden ring of fire and crystal holds steady while the hall’s attention stays fixed on her. The court continues to kneel, waiting for the next decree.

Tululu
Let this be remembered as the start of my coronation. Tonight, we celebrate under a peaceful hall, with my allies honored beside me.

Valerius
Then let the mountain hear it. Your reign begins with mercy, not fear.

Kaelith
A proper decree. The oath is met, and the hall should witness joy as well as power.

The Noble
A coronation celebration... if she means to rule, she means to be seen ruling. That is safer than silence.
A few more heads bow through the radiant ring, and the first hesitant murmurs of approval ripple across the chamber. The kneeling court begins to settle into obedience rather than fear.
