Wildheart: Shattering the Warlord’s Silent Vow

The tunnel opens onto a colossal stone gate carved into the mountain. The Warlord's sigil looms above the horn-code slots, and cold air leaks through the seams like a warning.

The Elder With Lantern steps forward, trembling. His fingers hover over the carved horns as he starts the opening sequence that can lead them into the Warlord's base.

Zero plants himself at the Elder's flank. Rex growls low at the gate, ears forward, while unseen movement scrapes somewhere beyond the stone.

The Elder hesitates on the final horn mark. Shame weighs on him, but the lock answers, and the gate begins to grind open.

Tenda's ki flares under control instead of bursting apart, and the opening slit reveals armed silhouettes waiting inside. The final confrontation is no longer a distant threat. It is right there.

Tenda drives forward with the opening surge, and the narrow seam becomes a passage. Cold air knifes out around him as the others move with him, not waiting for the gate to finish deciding.

Zero slips in at Tenda’s shoulder, sword angled low for the first cut. Rex launches through with a silent, predatory burst, while the Elder staggers after them, no longer hesitating.

The stone gate groans wider behind them, and the opening steals the last shred of surprise. Inside, torchlight and armor glint in a tight corridor, faces turning toward the intrusion.

The group clears the gate as one, landing inside the Warlord’s base under the carved arch. The Elder’s hardened stare catches the first defenders, and the old mountain chamber answers with alarmed movement.

A sharp clang rings deeper in the complex, followed by shouted orders. The hidden entrance is no longer hidden, and the first defenders rush to meet them.
