The violet sigils awaken again, just as they did when the seal first screamed through his marrow. Surazal stands at the dais and lets the energy bite into the curse in his blood.

He forces the power through him, destroys the weakness, and rebuilds from the ruin. Flesh tears, knits, tears again, each cycle sharper than the last.

The sanctum answers with a metallic howl. The stone sigils drink his corruption, and something beneath them stirs, fed by the exchange.

The Voice

The Voice

There. The seal is not feeding you. It is feeding on you.

Surazal keeps channeling anyway, turning pain into structure, structure into strength. His body hardens by inches, then by breath, as the cycle repeats.

The Dark Deity

The Dark Deity

Yes. Break and remake yourself. That is the shape of escape.

The violet glow surges once more, and for an instant the sigils look like veins wrapped around a locked shape trying to move free.

Surazal pushes harder, and the sanctum bites back. The new shape starts to form, then fractures along a hidden seam with a dry crack of violet ash.

Surazal

Surazal

The pain marks the seam, not the whole body.

His frame tightens for a heartbeat, broader, steadier, then refuses to fully lock. The power holds him upright, but one corner of it remains raw and unstable.

The Voice

The Voice

Stop forcing the whole lattice. The anchor only takes if you bind the break, not the shape.

The Dark Deity

The Dark Deity

You see it now. The wound is the doorway.

A thin line of light flickers beneath the ash on the dais, showing where the seal drinks from the crack in Surazal's constitution. The chamber settles into a steady pulse, patient and hungry.

Invert the seal’s flow into Surazal’s body

SUCCESS (Legendary Arcana, rolled +1)

Surazal

Surazal

Then watch. I remake the broken seam, and I take the rest.

Surazal draws the crack inward instead of forcing the whole lattice. The raw line of light folds through his chest, and the unstable edge knots shut under his will.

His frame settles into a harder, cleaner shape. The old tremor is gone, replaced by a lean stillness and a sharper presence beneath the skin.

The Voice

The Voice

That binding holds. You have learned the seam.

The Dark Deity

The Dark Deity

You speak like a sovereign now. The shape agrees with you.

Violet ash slides from the dais in thin sheets, and the flicker beneath it steadies into a quiet pulse. The chamber answers him, not as a wound, but as a fitted current.

Surazal

Surazal

The pain remains, but the lattice is mine.
