The party returns to Magistrate the magistrate’s office with the blue-marked gnome under guard. King Gandien and the unfamiliar goblin paladin accompany Dagg, while the chapel priest remains at the riverside chapel.
The magistrate clears a table beneath the surviving seals. The recovered file, Pike’s writ, ledger, broken tally, and sealed testimonies lie before her, while the gnome stands with his hands bound.

Delly
State your name, your connection to Arden Pike, and why you stole this file from my office.

The Blue-Marked Gnome
I am the blue-marked gnome. Pike’s backers paid me to move records, not destroy them. The file lists their names, payments, and orders to conceal the farm levies.

King Gandien
Then the network faces judgment beside Pike himself. Delly, preserve his statement exactly and send copies under seal to Hanor.

Beelz
And if anyone comes to silence him, they will find the room guarded. Justice first, but I will not permit interference.
Delly begins copying the gnome’s account beside the recovered evidence. With the case secured and witnesses accounted for, Dagg can finally leave the city and return to Nabbitt Farms.

Expose Pike’s hidden backers

Bring the blue-marked gnome before Magistrate Delly
“Thank you King Gandien for your help. I hope to visit again one day to see the Lion in action. Beelz, Rusk, lets head on back to Devia so i can go home and play my guitar in peace.”
SUCCESS (Superb Agility, rolled -2)

Delly set the last seal upon the testimony, while the blue-marked gnome watched the ink dry.

Delly
Pike and every named backer will answer before the law. The record is sound.

King Gandien
Send sealed copies to Hanor. Let no lord bury what justice has brought to light.

Beelz
Then let them try. I will be standing where the door is.

Dagg Nabbitt
At last. A clean road home.
The blue-marked gnome lowered its head, and Delly gathered the evidence into the keeping of the court.
By lawful seal and witnessed word, Pike and his hidden backers were carried toward judgment, while the truth passed safely into the hands of Hanor. King Gandien departed with the copies, Beelz remained vigilant, and Delly held the case firm. Dagg Nabbitt was free at last to return to his ranch, leaving the town, the river, and its troubled records behind him.
