Angela leads Ben and Marek off the tower block and into the overgrown street. The city breathes wet and green, all cracked asphalt, fern fronds, and vine-wrapped wrecks.
Ben slows beside a storefront shell, fingers brushing moss as if it might vanish. Marek keeps to the edge of the road, eyes on every dark gap between the cars.

Angela Diaboli
The street opens wider than the roof ever did.
Angela takes the first steps deeper into the avenue, and the others follow. Dust, rainwater, and old leaf rot cling to the air, cool against skin.

Ben
It is all... still here.

Marek
Yeah. And if we find anything worth carrying, we do it fast.
Ahead, a half-collapsed pharmacy glows under a curtain of ivy, its front door hanging open on one hinge. Somewhere deeper in the block, water drips in a steady rhythm, inviting them onward.
“I will lead Marek and Ben into the pharmacy to search for medical supplies.”
SUCCESS (Legendary Survival, rolled +2)

Angela leads them through the pharmacy doorway, pushing past the sagging hinge and into the stale green dark. Shelves lean under dust and ivy, but the aisles still hold shapes worth searching.
Ben drifts toward a toppled display of bandages, while Marek stops at the counter and scans the back room. Angela’s presence turns the room quiet, like even the broken glass is listening.
A cracked cabinet gives way under Angela’s hand, and sealed packets spill across the floor. A first aid kit is still tucked behind them, dry and intact.

Ben
There is medicine here. Real medicine.

Marek
Take what we can carry. Quick, before something notices us.
From deeper in the block, the steady dripping stops. In its place comes a low scrape through the vines outside, slow and deliberate, circling the storefront.
The pharmacy’s broken window rattles once. Whatever is out there knows they are inside now.

“You two stay here. I will see what waits outside.”
SUCCESS (Legendary Willpower, rolled -1)

Angela slips out through the pharmacy’s broken frame and into the street. The scrape outside belongs to a trail of gouged bark dragged through the vines, not a random wanderer.
She follows it past a warped bus stop and a curtain of leaves, where the growth bends away from a circle of packed earth.
At the center lie fresh claw marks on concrete, a half-eaten hare, and a strip of old cloth snagged on thorns.
The air carries a rank, musky heat. Something large has been here recently, and it keeps coming back.

Angela Diaboli
Come out.
Her voice rolls through the overgrowth. Across the street, branches shiver, then go still.
A low, answering growl rumbles from somewhere beyond the vines, close enough to feel in her ribs. The predator is not gone, only waiting for her next move.
“I command the predator to obey its goddess and show itself”
SUCCESS (Legendary Willpower, rolled -1)

The growl stops. From Ben’s side of the doorway, the street seems to hold its breath, vines twitching as if something massive has turned to face Angela.

Angela Diaboli
Obey your goddess and show yourself.
A shape unthreads itself from the green, low and heavy, its shoulders brushing wet leaves as it steps into the open circle of earth.
The predator is a huge boar, scarred across one flank, bark and thorn matted into its hide. It lowers its head, not charging, but waiting.
Ben does not move. The first thing he sees is the boar’s old cloth tag snagged in a tusk, then Angela in the street, unmoved before it.
The beast snorts once and takes a single, deliberate step closer, as if measuring whether her command is law or challenge.

Assert the boar’s submission
“I reach put a caring hand to the boar, asking it to come closer so i may mend its wounds”
SUCCESS (Legendary Willpower, rolled +0)

Angela’s hand settles against the boar’s rough muzzle, slow and sure. The animal goes still under her palm, breath huffing warm through the torn cloth caught in its tusk.

Marek
Easy now. It is listening.
The boar shifts its weight and lets Angela guide its head a little lower, exposing the scarred flank and the thorny matting in its hide.
Ben watches from the doorway, shoulders loosening as the street’s tension drains into a wary quiet.

Angela Diaboli
Come closer. Let me mend you.
The boar takes one careful step in. Its ears flick, then settle, and the old tag on its tusk swings into the light.

Marek
That tag came from the farm road fence line. I have seen boars wear them after breaking free.
The beast lowers itself at Angela’s feet, not quite kneeling, but no longer resisting her touch.
