Black-robed Blankos rush from the surrounding towers, swords drawn. A stern middle-aged woman with silver hair, dark skin, and a captain’s white mantle steps ahead of them.

A living intruder inside the Quiche. Janet, release yourself and stand aside. The access rule is absolute.

He is not fully living. His soul awakened, and he crossed by force to prevent Janet’s execution.

Cold Yuichi, do not raise your sword. They will use your resistance as proof that you are a threat.
The gathered Blankos spread across the platform, sealing every route toward the inner districts. Diego’s wounded shoulder drips onto the pale stone, but he keeps Janet behind him.

Janet, you abandoned the Quiche and transferred your power without authorization. Return with us, or this trespasser will be restrained beside you.

Cold Yuichi, listen to me. I am alive, and Captain Vale will not execute me while Diego stands witness. Leave before the seal tears you apart.

Janet’s sentence is suspended for testimony. Diego will be treated and confined. Cold Yuichi, the gate will return you to the living world now.
