Beyond the arch, Lucien Veyr stands beside a black altar. The blue soul-marble floats before his chest, while the Unit 6 and Unit 8 captains guard him in silence.

You brought the entire Quiche to my door. Janet’s soul-marble will open the Ashen Gate, and the Pinno world will no longer answer to your laws.

Lucien, release the marble and surrender. You stole Unit 12’s power and turned the Quiche against itself.
The Ashen Gate begins to open behind Lucien. Black fire spills across the ground, and distant Pinno silhouettes press toward the widening passage as every captain raises a weapon.

Yuichi, Janet, choose your opening. We will contain the captains, but Lucien must not reach the gate with that marble.
