Wolfie’s fingers tighten, the sound of cracking bone and fracturing obsidian filling the narrow alleyway. The violet orb pulses, fighting against the celestial pressure, but it flickers like a dying candle in a gale.

Wolfie
You think you’re so clever, don't you? Playing with the void as if it were a new toy.

Wolfie
*Poor fool. You invite the darkness in, hoping it will make you a god, not realizing I’ve had tea with the abyss and told it to keep its hands off my favorite tea set.*

Wolfie
Come on then, Void. Show yourself. Or are you too busy hiding behind this pathetic excuse for a puppet?

Intruder
Please... the master... he promised...
The alley shudders as a sliver of true, empty darkness tears through the air behind Wolfie, responding to his call. It does not attack; it bows. The Intruder’s eyes roll back into his head, his screams stifled by the sudden, crushing weight of a presence far older than the stones of the city.
“*He sighs and drops him* I can't believe you morons are actually forcing me out of retirement. This won't end well for you, you know. The mortal world is already changing, and why? You couldn't leave well enough alone? You understand that all you did was make the really bad people in the world actually suffer for their crimes, right? Cause you awakened one of the only true Gods left on the mortal plane, one who actually gives a shit about these morons. ("morons" affectionally)”
SUCCESS (Legendary Willpower, rolled -1)

Wolfie
I really cannot believe you morons are forcing me out of retirement. This won't end well for you. The world is changing, and for what? Because you couldn't leave well enough alone?
Wolfie carelessly lets the collar of the intruder’s robes slip from his fingers. The man collapses into a heap of rags, limbs splayed like a broken marionette. Behind Wolfie, the tear in the alley’s fabric bleeds a soft, pulsating violet, the silence of the void heavy enough to make the very air vibrate.

Wolfie
*You fools have no idea what you have invited into your backyard. You wanted a cataclysm, and you have awakened one of the few things left in this reality that still gives a damn about the order of things.*
The Void ripples, its edges curling inward like burning parchment, while the alleyway around them grows impossibly cold. The unconscious assailants remain frozen in the deepening frost, their breath no longer misting the air.
+ Scene Quest Added
Escape the alleyway before the void entity consumes everything.
“*He closes the rift, he doesn't need to escape because he summoned it, he's the danger here and he just wants a nap.”
SUCCESS (Superb Magic, rolled +3)

Wolfie
Go home. The void has better manners than you lot, and frankly, it's far less tedious to look at.
Wolfie raises a single hand, his fingers tracing a complex, glowing arc against the violet tear. He doesn't struggle; he commands. The rift groans, a sound of tearing silk amplified a thousand times, as the edges of reality begin to stitch themselves shut with threads of absolute darkness. The crystalline frost shatters, turning to harmless dust before it touches the cobblestones. The oppressive, soul-crushing weight of the entity vanishes instantly, replaced by the mundane, damp silence of a city alleyway.

Wolfie
*There. Nap time secured. If one more divine nuisance shows up before sunrise, I am going to turn their internal organs into decorative glass figurines.*
The last sliver of the rift snaps closed, leaving only the smell of ozone and the heavy, rhythmic breathing of the unconscious thugs. Wolfie turns toward the tavern door, his robes settling as the supernatural pressure finally dissipates into the damp night air.
Quest Complete
Escape the alleyway before the void entity consumes everything.
