The bronze token in the dirt gives one faint pulse, then goes still. From the sanctuary wall, old sunburst carvings catch the light and answer with a thin gold sheen.

I led you here because you were never meant to kneel to the Magistrate, nor to me. Read it, and choose what kind of justice you carry.
Enanita
The seal matches the mark on my palm.
Brann tightens his grip on his pack and looks between Enanita and the open sanctuary, ready to yield the way or block it if she turns back. Veyl does not move, patient and watchful, leaving the final step to Enanita.
