Rebecca settles Klause into a quiet guest room and keeps Liora’s mother beside the bed as guardian. Warm wardlight gathers over his injured side.
Rebecca Larent
Rest now. Guide the restorative current gently, and let it complete its work without forcing the tissue.
Under Rebecca’s supervision, the mana circulates through the bruising in measured layers. The ache steadily thins until the last tightness leaves Klause’s side.
Beyond the open window, Jacob leads Liora into the warded courtyard. The young elf girl raises a practice sword, her silver hair tied back and her blue dress replaced by simple training clothes.
Jacob Larent
Show me your guard, Liora. We will keep this cautious, and stop the moment control slips.
Jacob advances carefully, but Liora blurs across the stones. Her footwork slips past his opening defense, and three precise wooden strikes halt against his guard before he can reset.
Jacob Larent
Exceptional. Rebecca, this is not ordinary village training. Should we build a proper discipline for her beside Klause’s?

“I go to look at them train and liora is holding her own either my father, wow she is amazing with that kinda talent she could enter the academy when I do”
Rebecca finishes the restorative check, then leads Klause to the courtyard window. His side remains calm as he watches Jacob and Liora continue their measured exchange.
Klause larent
Liora’s footwork is precise, and she is holding her own against Father.
Liora circles across the sunlit stones, silver hair tied back and wooden sword held steadily before her. Jacob adjusts his stance, testing her balance without pressing her.
Jacob Larent
Good. Do not chase the opening. Make your opponent move, then choose the safest answer.
Liora changes direction with a quick step and catches Jacob’s guarded blade, turning it aside instead of striking through. She resets immediately, attentive to his instruction.
Rebecca Larent
Her talent is remarkable, but talent must be given structure. With proper guidance, she could be ready for Elara’s academy when you are.
Liora
I would like that. I want to learn properly, and I want to protect the village better.
“Due to this my father gives her armor and a beginner sword and she puts it on ready to train in swordsmanship as I get ready to train in magic”
SUCCESS (Superb Arcana, rolled +2)
Jacob leaves the courtyard and returns with a fitted set of light leather armor and a beginner’s wooden sword. He places both before Liora.
Jacob Larent
This armor will protect you without hiding your movement. The sword is for learning control, not proving strength.
Liora slips into the brown leather armor, fastening its straps over her training clothes. She tests each joint, then accepts the short sword in both hands.
Liora
It fits well. I am ready to learn properly, Jacob.
Jacob adjusts one shoulder strap and checks her stance. Across the courtyard, Rebecca prepares a ring of blue practice sigils beside a clear space for Klause.
Rebecca Larent
Klause, your lesson will begin with stable shaping and observation. Keep your restorative current gentle, and do not strain your side.
Klause gathers his spellbook and steps toward the sigils while Liora raises her beginner sword. Father and daughter stand ready on opposite sides of the courtyard, each beginning disciplined training.
