Her runes pulse pink against the dark walls, catching carved scales and shattered ward-lines as the air turns colder with every step.
Below, the tunnel widens into a half-buried chamber. The low growl of the Wyrm Below rolls through the stone, close enough to shake dust from the ceiling.

The Hooded Figure hurries toward the nearest gate, hauling frightened townsfolk toward the widening exits as shouted orders spread through the square.
Princess Eden Siranteos stays at the shrine threshold, alone at last, while the old stone groans under the pressure of the seal. A hot crack of blue-white light snaps from the doorway and scorches a fresh line across her gauntlet.
