Adventure of Behemoth 1

Red alarms wash the rooftop in pulses. Across the bridge, the relay cage hangs open, black smoke pouring from its split frame. Corporate drones break formation, blind for a second, then start to regroup around a new signal.

Behemoth stands in the cracked tiles, armor scorched, one boot seal ragged. A fresh drone hovers into view above the south tower wreckage, projecting a hard white target box toward him.

A second drone slides out of the smoke behind the first, lower and faster. Its lens flares over Behemoth and the bridge pylon, searching for a clear shot while debris rattles under the wind.

The Fixer ducks for cover near the bridge rail. Behemoth has a narrow opening now, the tower collapsing, the drones exposed, and the corp's next command node in sight.

Behemoth surges off the cracked tiles, armor thundering, and cuts straight toward the bridge pylon. The first drone swings in to bracket him, but his shot snaps it sideways in a shower of sparks.

A second drone dips for the Fixer’s side of the roof. Behemoth tracks it mid-flight and blows its lens cluster apart before it can line up a shot.

He reaches the pylon base in the same rush, one gloved hand locking on the uplink box while the other keeps his barrel up and live.

The box comes free with a hard yank. A cable tears loose behind it, spitting blue-white static into the rain.

Below the pylon, the last drone wobbles off line, its aim broken by the dead uplink and Behemoth’s fire. The Fixer stays down, staring at the boxed prize in Behemoth’s hand.
