The water is freezing. Every step on these slick stones threatens to send me under. I cannot let these eggs crack.
The murky river swirls around Harold Blackhoof's waist. Behind him, the jungle canopy shudders violently as the massive predator tears through the underbrush toward the bank.

A low, guttural roar vibrates through the water, rattling Harold's teeth. The T-Rex bursts onto the muddy bank, its snout sniffing the air for the scent of blood.

It sees me. If I try to cross, it will snap me up like a twig. I need to reach the sea caves on the far cliff, but the current is dragging me downstream.
Harold turns his back to the beast, driving his heavy hooves into the riverbed to fight the current, as the T-Rex lets out a deafening screech and plunges into the shallows.
