The settlement lights still glow behind them as Blue takes one step, then buckles. The Force Stone hammer in his grip shivers like it is coming apart from the inside.

He drops to one knee in the wet culvert shadow. Blue's shoulders hitch, and the weapon cracks open, spilling a thin stream of glowing sand across the slick floor.

Red the Colossus

Red the Colossus

Blue. Hey, look at me. Stay with us.

Yellow the Colossus

Yellow the Colossus

That is not just strain. The stone is taking him apart.

Red reaches for him first, then stops short at the look of it. Yellow kneels on the other side, one hand hovering near Blue's chest, afraid to worsen whatever is happening.

Blue the Colossus

Blue the Colossus

The hammer is turning to dust.

The last hard shape in Blue's hand gives way, and the glow drains into the water at his feet. Behind them, the hatch light becomes a narrow line, and the road home waits in the dark.

Yellow the Colossus

Yellow the Colossus

We get him moving, now. Before he sinks any lower.

Stabilize Blue’s failing chassis

I force my willpower upon the hammer, commanding it to repair itself and stop feeding off me for power because i control it not the other way around

Blue forces the order into the broken metal. The glowing sand stirs, then climbs back toward the shape of the hammer, grain by grain, as if listening.

It does not obey. The light flares, snaps thin, and crawls instead into the seams of Blue's own armor, leaving the hammer half-made and useless in the stream.

Blue the Colossus

Blue the Colossus

It is tied to me.

Red flinches as the sand stops spreading. Yellow leans closer, eyes fixed on the faint lines of glow now running under Blue's plates.

Yellow the Colossus

Yellow the Colossus

It is not repairing itself, it is routing through you.

Red the Colossus

Red the Colossus

Then we do not let it keep taking.

The hammer's outline remains broken, but the sand no longer pours out. It hangs in a trembling seam between weapon and body, showing there may be a way to sever the drain without forcing more power through it.

I slam my fists into the ground refusing to give up and i once again attempts to force my will onto the hammer

Blue drives both fists into the wet floor. The impact shudders through the hatch, and the glow under his plates jerks free, peeling back toward the broken hammer in a thin stream of light.

The sand snaps off his armor and gathers itself around the half-made weapon instead. The broken shape firms in the water, while Blue’s shoulders sag from the strain.

Blue the Colossus

Blue the Colossus

I pull it back.

The line of light thins to a faint thread, then stops feeding his chassis. A dark smear of scorched residue is left behind where the force was routed.

Red the Colossus

Red the Colossus

There. Keep it there.

Yellow the Colossus

Yellow the Colossus

The drain stops, but his frame still looks starved.

Blue remains upright, but the hollow tremor in his armor settles in hard, making every movement feel expensive. Red’s hand hovers near his shoulder, waiting for him to choose whether to move or kneel.

With one final pish of my powers i command the hammer to fully reconstruct itself and sever its ability to feed off of me

Blue locks onto the broken hammer in the water. The light tightens, the scattered sand draws inward, and the weapon firms back into one shape as the thread cleanly peels away from his armor.

Blue the Colossus

Blue the Colossus

It holds.

The scorched residue stays on his plates, but the drain is gone. The hammer lies reconstructed beside him, no longer pulling at his frame.

Red the Colossus

Red the Colossus

Good. Keep clear of it for a second.

Yellow the Colossus

Yellow the Colossus

His system is still hit hard, but the pull is severed.

Blue’s shoulders ease a fraction. Around them, the wet hatch floor still shivers from the impact, and the hammer’s glow dims to a steady, harmless glint in the puddle.
