Adventure of crystalious 1

The eastern gate falls behind them as the expedition follows an old trail between towering blue ice walls. Snow muffles the ox’s steps, and pale light glimmers beneath the frozen stone.

Cryos glides above the narrow pass, his immense wings stirring loose crystals from the cliffs. He slows over a sheltered valley, alert but calm, as a distant wingbeat echoes beyond the ridge.

Luna, her sliver scales bright beneath the cold sky, walks beside the loaded ox. The snow leopard cub remains tucked beneath its blanket, peering out at the unfamiliar valley.

The trail widens around a shelf of wind-carved ice, revealing green shadows and a clear stream below. Beyond the ridge, another wingbeat answers, closer now, while the unseen dragon remains concealed.

Crystalious halts the expedition on the sheltered shelf. The ox is unburdened, the cub remains nestled beneath her blanket, and Cryos folds his immense wings without advancing.

Luna arranges blankets beside the stream while the ox settles near the ice shelf. No one crosses toward the ridge, and even Cryos lowers his head in patient stillness.

Night gathers blue across the valley. After a long silence, the hidden dragon’s wingbeats cease, and her watchful call softens into a quiet answering note.
