Rain hisses over the alley as Leon Wolfe slows, neon rippling across the wet brick. A keycard glints by his boot, and the side door still hangs open behind him.

Darath steps out of the shadows with quiet timing, coat dark against the glow, eyes already on Leon. He looks less surprised than confirmed.

Darath

Darath

You were seen running. Your friends asked me to find you before they tear through the city.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

I ran from Grid Iron. Fanrir’s the one running it.

Darath’s gaze sharpens at the name, but he keeps his voice level, the way someone does when the answer matters more than the drama.

Darath

Darath

Then tell me everything. What is Grid Iron, and what did Fanrir do to pull you into it?

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

I never even met him. I just saw the rules, the guards, and how nobody walks out clean.

Darath listens without interrupting, filing every detail away. The rain beads on his sleeve while the alley stays empty except for the pulse of distant traffic.

Darath

Darath

That is enough to make trouble. Enough to make allies, too. Stay close, Leon, and tell me who else is already in this with you.

Leon Wolfe

Darath, I need a favor. I met someone at Grid Iron, a female werewolf. She seems trapped too. Can you help me get her out?

Darath does not answer at once. He studies Leon over the rain, then glances toward the open stair and the forgotten keycard like he is connecting loose threads.

Darath

Darath

A trapped wolf in Fanrir’s grip, and you still came out thinking of someone else. That tells me enough about you.

Darath

Darath

Yes. I can help, but not blindly. Give me her name if you know it, and tell me who stood between you and the door.

Leon’s answer hangs in the wet air, while Darath shifts closer by one careful step, no longer just a watcher in the alley.

Darath

Darath

If Fanrir is using the arena to keep people leashed, I want the pattern, the faces, the exits. You are not the only one he has made a problem for.

Quest Complete

Get Darath on Leon’s side

Her name is Nayla and she is the mate of Fanrir. I know it sounds strange but i felt she didnt want to stay.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

Her name is Nayla. She is Fanrir’s mate. I know it sounds strange, but I think she does not want to stay.

The rain ticks hard against the alley bricks as Leon leaves the name hanging between them. Darath’s gaze sharpens, not with doubt, but with recognition.

Darath

Darath

Nayla Iko.

Darath

Darath

If she is Fanrir’s mate, then her hesitation matters. A bonded wolf does not drift that easily unless something inside the cage is already breaking.

He glances once toward the open stair behind Leon, then back to Leon’s face, as if weighing the keycard and the exit together.

Darath

Darath

You did not imagine this. Tell me what she said, and I will tell you what kind of leverage Fanrir loses when a mate starts looking for the door.

The alley stays quiet except for rain and the distant throb of the arena above, while Darath waits, fully invested now.

It wasnt what was said D my blood my wolf it felt lonely. Like its bond was right there but it was to weak to challenge. I hated it.

Leon lets the feeling surface, and it is not heat or hunger. It is a thin, aching pull, like his wolf has heard a voice it cannot reach.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

My wolf feels it first. Lonely. Too weak to challenge, but close enough to hurt.

Darath stills. The rain on his coat darkens, but his attention goes sharper, more human, as if Leon has handed him a clean fact instead of a feeling.

Darath

Darath

That is useful. Not desire, not fear. A bond line that fails to stand on its own.

He tips his head toward Leon, studying the way he holds himself, the way his breath catches around the truth.

Darath

Darath

If your wolf reacts like that near Nayla, then Fanrir does not simply own the room. He has left a weakness in it.

The words land cleanly. Darath’s expression softens by a degree, less predator now, more analyst, already turning Leon’s discomfort into a map.

For now i need to get to the girls and we need a plain to get Nayla out

Leon lowers his hand from his chest and looks back toward the alley mouth, then toward Darath. The rain hisses on the pavement, and the open side door behind him frames the dark stair like a waiting exit.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

For now, I need to get to the girls. Then we make a plan to get Nayla out.

Darath’s gaze flicks once to the alley, once to Leon, already weighing routes and risks.

Darath

Darath

Good. Then I stop treating this as rumor and start treating it as a map.

Darath

Darath

If Nayla can be reached, Fanrir’s grip is less clean than he thinks.

He reaches into his coat, not for a weapon, but for a phone, angling its screen between them under the rain-dark light.

Darath

Darath

Show me the route you used, and tell me who was posted where. I will help pull her out.

I mark the gsp with the back door route NAyla showed me. Im heading to stars restaurant im starving. See ya D.
