Leon follows the guards through the side door into the private room. The arena noise turns distant and low, swallowed by hard wood, iron trim, and a narrow band of light from the hall.

The guards take their places along the walls, hands loose, posture disciplined. They are watching Leon, but they are not crowding him now.

A woman is already inside, leaning near the table like she owns the silence. Amber eyes lift over Leon, calm and sharp, with not a trace of surprise.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

So this is the pet.

She pushes off the table and circles him once with a measured look, reading the half-shift in his body and the tension in the room.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

You made a loud entrance. Fanrir likes that, when it comes from someone useful.

Leon says nothing, holding his ground and waiting for her next move.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Good. Then stay interesting. I want to see what he keeps around him.

My pulse is racing, but not from anger now. Why did your mate kidnap me, Nayla?

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Kidnap is a heavy word. Fanrir collects problems before they become someone else’s.

The room goes still on her answer. One guard shifts his weight, like he has heard too much to relax, and the other keeps his eyes on the door.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

He heard you in the arena. That is why you are here, not because he is bored.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Too much heat for a captive. Interesting.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

If you want the clean answer, ask what kind of attention you just earned.

Nayla taps the table once and lets her gaze flick toward the side door near the balcony, then back to Leon. It is not a rescue, but it is an opening.

I follow her eyes but i still feel a strong pulse in my blood towards her. lets clear out the guards i trust we can have a quite talk.

FAILURE (Fair Willpower, rolled +0)

Leon lets his gaze follow Nayla’s glance to the side door, then back to her face. The words leave him quieter than his pulse feels, but they land plainly in the room.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

Let the guards clear out. I trust we can talk quietly.

The nearest guard straightens at once, ready to obey or object. Nayla does neither, her attention sharpening instead of softening.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

That is not how this room works, Leon Wolfe. If they leave because you ask, everyone hears it happened because I allowed it.

She steps closer to the table, then stops just short of his reach. The guard on the wall glances at her, waiting for the decision that will define the room.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Still, you are not wrong. I can make them wait outside. That is a different conversation.

The side door near the balcony clicks softly as a latch is tested from the other side, and the guards both notice. Nayla’s eyes flick there once, then return to Leon, inviting him to choose how much he wants from her answer.

Leon lets the silence settle instead of filling it. He shifts his weight toward the table, and the room finally follows his lead.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Fine. The guards wait outside.

The nearest guard hesitates, then steps back. The other one follows, both of them moving to the door with reluctant, careful faces.

Nayla watches them go, then turns back to Leon alone, one hand resting on the hardwood edge like she owns the conversation now.

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

Now that we are alone, what do you want exactly, Nayla?

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

The truth, mostly. And maybe the chance to keep Fanrir from making this uglier than it has to be.

She glances once toward the side door near the balcony, then back to Leon, her expression softening into something more personal than caution.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

You are not acting like a prize they can pass around. That makes you harder to ignore than they expected.

Well i was kidnapped and im not exactly keen on crowds my wolf does like it much still cant control him good. my pulse quickes every second im near NAyla now.

SUCCESS (Fair Willpower, rolled +0)

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

I was kidnapped. I do not like crowds, and my wolf does not help. Being near you makes my pulse jump.

The words land plain and raw. Leon’s jaw tightens as he finishes, and the room feels smaller for it, as if he has handed her something real and cannot take it back.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Kidnapped, then shoved in front of an audience. Fanrir keeps calling that order.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

And if your wolf is reacting to me, that is not nothing. It means you are not numb, just overwhelmed.

Nayla’s gaze flicks over Leon’s face, then to the faint tension in his hands. Her voice stays careful, but the edge in it turns protective instead of testing.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

You are not the first man Fanrir has tried to fold into a shape he likes. You are the first who has made the room notice.

At the mention of notice, the side door near the balcony gives a soft, distinct click. Nayla does not look away from Leon, but her shoulders square, ready to answer for him if the next voice comes through.

I lower my voice and stare into Nayla eyes hopeing for something anything for her wolf to link with mine. But i feel Fanrir is listening really closely.

Leon lowers his voice and holds Nayla’s gaze. The room seems to narrow around the two of them, her amber eyes catching on his like she has been waiting for him to look that directly.

A faint answering warmth passes between their stares, not loud, not magical, just immediate. Nayla’s posture stills, and her attention stops skimming him like a test.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

He is not bluffing. He is reaching.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

There you are. That is the part Fanrir cannot script.

Leon catches it too, a clean sliver of understanding, her protectiveness braiding with his fear instead of brushing past it. In the same beat, he realizes someone behind the wall has gone very still, listening hard.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

If he is listening, let him. He needs to hear this from me.

Nayla lifts her chin toward the unseen door, then back to Leon. For the first time, she looks less like an examiner and more like an ally choosing a side.

I shake my head its not the time. I have to get out of here some how and get to my girlfriends before they burn down the island looking for me. I rather avoid that for now.

SUCCESS (Fair Willpower, rolled +2)

Leon Wolfe

Leon Wolfe

Leon shakes his head, keeping his voice low. Not now. I need out of here, and I need to get back to my girlfriends before they tear the island apart looking for me. I would rather avoid that.

Nayla takes the answer in without flinching. Her eyes move once, sharp and practical, from Leon to the side door near the balcony, then back again, as if she is weighing which path costs less blood and pride.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Then listen. If you leave angry, Fanrir calls it defiance. If you leave clean, he has to explain why he held you at all.

She steps half a pace aside, opening the line of sight to the door instead of blocking it. The private room feels less like a cage now, more like a choice someone is finally admitting exists.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

Your women matter enough to make this messy. That means they matter enough to make it dangerous for him to pretend you are nothing.

Nayla’s jaw tightens, but her tone stays even. She is no longer appraising Leon like a test. She is answering for him, out loud, where someone beyond the wall can hear every word.

Nayla Iko

Nayla Iko

So decide. Do you want me to get you a clean exit, or do you want me to say his name and make this his problem in front of everyone?
