Leon and Nayla step out of Grid Iron and into Aki’s wet backstreets. Neon smears across the puddles, and the fight club noise dies behind them like a slammed door.
The alley is narrow, brick-walled, and empty except for a humming vending machine near the corner and a rusted fire escape overhead. Rain taps softly on metal and pavement.

Nayla Iko
You are out. For now.
Nayla plants herself between Leon and the street, one hand loose at her side, eyes still sharp. She is watching the alley entrance, not him.

The Guard
He slips out, and Fanrir will notice.
A figure lingers at the mouth of the alley, half-hidden by the rain, then stops instead of following. The city swallows the rest of the arena’s heat.

Leon Wolfe
This route is open, but not safe.

Nayla Iko
Go where you want, Leon. Home, help, or trouble. I am not stopping you.
“Nayla if i go will you stay with Fanrir?”
SUCCESS (Good Conversation, rolled +3)

Leon Wolfe
If I go, will you stay with Fanrir?

Nayla Iko
No. Not like before. I have been standing beside him, but I am not his shadow.

Nayla Iko
If Leon leaves, Fanrir will call it disloyal. If Leon stays, he risks being pulled back in.
Rain beads on Nayla’s lashes as she finally drops her gaze from the street and meets Leon’s eyes. The alley noise stays distant, a low city hush behind her answer.

The Guard
She means it. I would not stand here if she did not.
Nayla exhales once, almost a laugh, and then reaches behind her. Her fingers find the side door by the balcony and push it wider, revealing a dim service stair beyond the brick.

Nayla Iko
Take this path. If you want truth later, come back by choice, not by leash.
On the wet ground, a keycard slips from Nayla’s palm and skids to Leon’s boot, the extra access she did not promise. Her stance stays firm, but her shoulders loosen, as if the answer itself has shifted something between them.
