A deep shift rolls through Blackthorn Post. Stone grinds somewhere overhead, and a seam opens beneath the marked wall, revealing steps descending into warm darkness.

The first watch guard raises his lamp toward the opening while the second places himself between the stair and the exhausted woman. Dust continues falling as a dull impact shudders through the stones.

The concealed stair opens another step. Warm air spills upward carrying stone dust and a faint echo of breathing, while Mara keeps one hand raised, waiting for Mando to decide the next move.
