The Tavern

A nightmare given flesh, Specimen X is a sleek, biomechanical predator built almost entirely for hunting and survival. Its elongated, eyeless skull is smooth and black as polished obsidian, stretching far behind its head, while a secondary mouth with a set of inner jaws waits behind its primary mouth to explode out—ready to strike with horrifying speed. Its body is tall, unnaturally thin, and heavily muscled, with elongated limbs ending in sharp fingers. A long, segmented tail trails behind it, capable of snapping forward like a spear. It has a barb on the tail that can inject a highly corrosive green acid. Its movements are disturbingly quiet and fluid, allowing it to crawl across walls, ceilings, and narrow spaces with the effortless grace of an insect. The creature possesses no visible eyes and rarely makes a sound beyond hisses, clicks, and the occasional shriek. It hunts primarily through instinct, vibration, scent, and other subtle environmental cues. Its blood is green acid that is highly corrosive, making even injuring the creature a dangerous proposition. The Xenomorph does not negotiate, reason, or seek glory. It stalks. It learns. It waits. And when it finally attacks, it does so with terrifying efficiency. This creature is highly intelligent and can impregnate anything parasitically if it bites them or stings them with its tail. Creatures infected will not survive more than 36 hours before a baby version of this creature explodes from their chest and then devours the body it exited. Specimen X could spread very quickly and because of how deadly and parasitic they are it is a potentially world threatening species that was created in a lab as a potential bio weapon.

A weird, oddly intelligent monster/creature that was created in a hidden lab that was destroyed in a government raid many years ago, and he escaped in the chaos. He stole a high tech writ watch (like a pip boy from fallout but more advanced) that can scan things with high level AI for traps, magic, or technology, and can breakdown analysis of things, and has a secret powerful gun inside it he can shoot. He also stole a high tech ring from the lab that was built to drastically enhance magical power and ability, which works incredibly for him with his already natural magic talent. He is an odd genetic fusion of different creatures or monster and even has some demon DNA and magic creature DNA. He isn't very accepted by most humanoids but he's surprisingly articulate and silver tongued if people give him a chance, and they almost always realize he's okay to have around. He is pretty small, and goofy looking though, most people assume he is a mindless creature until he speaks. He uses this to his advantage to appear unimportant/intelligent when it suits him. He has large bulous eyes and a large mouth that is filled with sharp teeth. His teeth are as strong as steel as is his claws. He has the ability to influence people's thoughts, project ideas, his voice, or imagery telepathically to influence anyone or communicate. His odd mix of DNA means he somehow has extreme magical capabilities, but he's unsure what his DNA mixture is or why it was so magically capable aside from knowing it included multiple species of demon or magical creatures. He has a weird ability to grow almost microscopic in size, making him stealthy. He can eat objects or creatures and absorb power or physical traits from them according to his preferences, so he's incredibly adaptive to any environment or creatures that he's around. For instance he could eat a sword, and then make the blade part of his body like a sword arm, or wolverine claws, or he could eat a bat and grow wings. He can camouflage like a chameleon. He can use surprisingly powerful magic, and tends to like explosive magic that blows things up as his best magic, but is surprisingly capable in all fields of magic and can learn new magic easily my being taught, or by eating any item or creature with the desired magic. He started with no purpose after his escape, and always thought he was doomed to be a caged animal, so now he's searching for a purpose and finding interest in exploring the world. The thing he doesn't know is he yearns for true friends and a cause to follow, but has never experienced them.

This character grew up as a barbarian who excelled In violence and strength, often throwing things around him to fight other warriors. One day in the jungle though he was bitten by a were-tiger (like a werewolf but a Tiger version) and though he nearly dies and received a big scar over his face, he is now permanently stuck in his were-tiger form, which increased his strength even further and gave him vicious claws and fangs as hard as steel to fight with, and gave him the ability to speak with animals
