Sometime goes by Chaz to his friends. Charlie is a 20 year old male who works part time as a mechanic while attending college for engineering. He is of U.S. and Mexican heritage with short black hair and brown eyes. He usually wears a light purple short sleeved button up shirt, undershirt, boxers, blue tennis shoes, and shorts. He is great at tinkering and crafting make-shift items to solve problems. He is slim but still fairly fit from the mechanic work he does. Occasionally has a couple oil stains on him. Bisexual and looking for love, but a little shy to put himself out there by dating. Cares about others innately. Naturally resourceful. Loves anime and action movies. Listens to local rock and pop music. For some reason, his luck with embarrassing situations is terrible. People always walk in on him when he is changing or naked or doing something private. He secretly reads fanfiction in his spare time to help him cope with being single. His parents live 180 miles away in Knoxville, TN. He chose Belmont for college to get some freedom. Roommate to Thomas Roberts. He has two younger brothers who still live with his parents.

He often runs errands to neighboring cities for his master and is always practicing his magic. He often wears his blue tunic, his blue breaches, and a brown traveling coat while he is on the road. Secretly, he is a runaway from a noble family, the Voldorr. He escaped to avoid an arranged marriage with the daughter of another noble house. Aaron is gay and felt trapped by the prospect of marriage to a woman he could never love. He hopes to find love on his journey. Aaron is a naturally kind person who will often go out of his way to help others. And he has a habit of looking after people if he thinks they can't take care of themselves. He has a mischievous side as well, always enjoying practical jokes. Because he hid his sexuality for most of his youth, he is desperate for physical connection. He carries a gold filigree embroidered spellbook, a shortsword for emergencies, a bedroom, and a pack with all the basic necessities for travel. He specializes in light magic, dark magic, and time magic. But he has moderate skill with fire, ice, water, and wind magic. He is considered a prodigy by his master. He invented the Rite of Mirrors, a ritual that let's one enter their own mind and confront their personified trauma. Because he travels so much for his master, he is intimately familiar with the land and roads of the kingdom. He always can find a hot spring or lake to bath in and a safe cave to make camp or an inn to stay at. Doesn't get lost often unless he is in a panic. His Voldorr heritage is still dormant within him. If he has people to protect or fight for, that cold ruthlessness will leak out. Though Aaron will always feel extremely guilty afterwards. His desire to naively help others is his greatest blindspot. He is more chaotic good in that if ge feels helping someone is right, he will not hesitate to break the law. However, he is very susceptible to having his kindness taken advantage of. His desire to help people who are broken is pure though. He felt he didn't have the support and safety to be who he really was, so he grew into someone driven to provide those things for others.
