The iron gates part with a low groan, and Nikki guides Faith up the long drive toward the mansion. Rain-dark stone gives way to warm windows and polished brass, the warehouse tension thinning with every step.

Inside the grand foyer, the Capozzi home feels hushed and expensive, all marble shine, pale rugs, and a chandelier spilling gold over the floor. Nikki slows, letting Faith take it in.

Vincenzo stands near the entry hall, broad and still, keeping his tone measured as he watches Faith with careful approval. Beyond him, Donatello’s heavy silhouette waits in the deeper light, while Lucifer sits like an ancient monument near the far room, his gaze steady and unreadable.

For a beat, nobody moves. Then Lucifer lifts one hand in a small, welcoming gesture, and the room seems to make space for them both.

Nikki’s words settle into the foyer like a careful offering, naming the men at the far end of the room and making the introductions real.

The room eases by a fraction, but the cost shows in Nikki’s mouth, dry from the dusty road and the warehouse smoke still clinging to her throat.

Faith gives Nikki a brief, steady look, then turns toward the older men with her shoulders squared, waiting to see what this family makes of her now.

Donatello’s attention settles on Nikki first, then on Faith, as if weighing the question against the room itself.

Lucifer’s mouth quirks, almost amused, while Vincenzo folds his arms and nods once, already less guarded than before.
