Taydo

The Stranger in Black
Witness the final act of this forest, beast.
He swings his staff in a wide, vicious arc toward the largest crystal. As the wood makes contact, a blast of violet light erupts, shaking the subterranean ceiling.

SUCCESS (Great Arcana, rolled +1)
Taydo
Stop at once, vile mage!
Taydo slams his staff against the rocky ground, calling forth the deep, dormant spirits of the earth.
Vibrant, emerald vines burst from the crevices in the floor, weaving through the air with predatory speed.
The Stranger in Black
What is this... the roots of the world itself?
The glowing flora coil tightly around the Stranger's limbs, yanking the staff from his grip before he can finish the incantation.
As he is hauled backward into the wall, a small, radiant core drops from his robe, pulsating with the same rhythm as the violet crystals.
