Tommy’s office looks hit by a storm, shredded paperwork skittering over the rug. Don steps in, and finds Vinny and Vicky already there, waiting like they own the room.
Vinny stands by the desk, methodically wiping down a heavy firearm, his jaw set hard. Vicky paces near the window, sharp-eyed and restless, all coiled motion.

Thomas "Tommy" Capozzi
The docks got hit from the inside. I want the route, the timing, and the name that connects them.

Antonia "Toni" Capozzi
Then we stop guessing and start matching logs. Somebody left a pattern, I know it.

Vincenzo "Vinny" Capozzi
Good. Give me a face, or give me a place. I’ll pry it open.

Victoria "Vicky" Capozzi
And if the leak is close to home, we find it fast, before it rots the rest of the line.
Tommy turns the ruined stack of papers toward Don. One sheet bears a dock manifest with a copied notation circled in red, the first clean lead in the mess.

Find why Vinny and Vicky were absent from the job
“First i wanna k ow why neither if you were on the job. Vinny, you keft your little sister alone to fail. And Vicky, i know Toni's older than you but you're stronger than her, you're supposed to protect her, and you weren't there either to keep her from failing. Why?”
SUCCESS (Great Diplomacy, rolled -1)

Donatello "Don" Capozzi
Why were neither of you on the job, Vinny? Why weren’t you there to back Toni up, Vicky?

Vincenzo "Vinny" Capozzi
Because I was chasing a lead Tommy handed me. He said it was urgent, and I moved.

Victoria "Vicky" Capozzi
And I was covering the street side. I left when the route looked stable. It wasn’t.

Thomas "Tommy" Capozzi
Neither of them made it up as they went. Somebody redirected them.

Antonia "Toni" Capozzi
Not negligence. A pull from inside the chain.

Vincenzo "Vinny" Capozzi
I can tell you the name that sent me, but I need to know if Tommy wants the truth clean or public.

Victoria "Vicky" Capozzi
And if that name is ours, we say it here, now.

Find why Vinny and Vicky were absent from the job
“Tell me who i gotta make sleep with the fishes for this!”
SUCCESS (Superb Willpower, rolled -1)

Don’s demand cuts the room clean. Vinny lowers his chin, the gun hand steady, while Tommy’s fingers flatten on the manifest like he is pinning the answer in place.

Vincenzo "Vinny" Capozzi
Maurice Delaro, the dock foreman. His number came through Tommy’s old channel, so I took it as legit.
Toni goes still, eyes flicking from Vinny to Tommy, and Vicky’s jaw tightens as the name lands with weight. Nobody reaches for the papers now.

Thomas "Tommy" Capozzi
That channel was supposed to be sealed. If Delaro used it, somebody inside my books handed him the key.

Victoria "Vicky" Capozzi
So this is bigger than a missed call. It is a leak with a name on it.
Vinny angles the manifest toward Don, and the red circle beside the dock notation suddenly looks less like a mark and more like a target.

Antonia "Toni" Capozzi
Maurice Delaro. If he is the hand, then someone else is the wrist.
“Okay then. Toni, sweetheart, you can go on home. The rest of us are gonna pay Mr. Delaro a visit.”
FAILURE (Great Diplomacy, rolled -4)

Donatello "Don" Capozzi
Okay then. Toni, sweetheart, you can go on home. The rest of us are going to pay Mr. Delaro a visit.

Antonia "Toni" Capozzi
No. If Delaro used Tommy’s channel, I am not leaving while the trail is hot.
Toni straightens from the desk and plants both hands on the wood, refusing to budge. Tommy’s eyes cut to her, then to Don, as the room tightens around the refusal.

Thomas "Tommy" Capozzi
She stays until we know whether she was targeted or used. I am not sending anyone away blind.

Victoria "Vicky" Capozzi
Good. Because if Delaro reached into your channel, he did not act alone. Someone wanted him pointed at this shipment.
Vinny’s grip shifts on the gun, not raising it, just enough to show he hears the new problem. Toni’s mouth thins at the word alone, and the accusation in the room stops being about her absence and starts circling whoever opened the door for Delaro.

Vincenzo "Vinny" Capozzi
Then we do not waste time. We pull the phone records, the book access, everything tied to that channel, and we find who fed him.
The manifest slides a fraction under Tommy’s hands as he turns it back toward himself. On the page, the red circle waits like a pinned wound, and nobody in the office looks ready to let Toni walk out without an answer.
“Fine, we'll all go and talk with him”
SUCCESS (Great Diplomacy, rolled -1)

Don lets the silence hang just long enough for everyone to feel it, then turns the room with a steady look. The decision lands without heat, and the argument loses its shape.

Donatello "Don" Capozzi
Fine. We all go talk to Delaro.
Toni exhales through her nose and eases one hand off the desk, the fight leaving her shoulders even as she stays planted. Tommy’s jaw tightens, but he gives a short nod and folds the manifest under his arm.

Thomas "Tommy" Capozzi
Good. If this is a leak, I want it confronted with witnesses.

Victoria "Vicky" Capozzi
And if Delaro starts talking sideways, we will know whether he is scared or coached.
Vinny steps toward the door first, already moving into escort mode, while Toni pushes away from the desk and squares herself with the others. The office shifts from argument to action in a single breath.
Tommy reaches for the handle, then pauses with his hand on it, looking back at Don like he expects the next word to decide how ugly this gets.
