Rain hammers through the open service door, washing the corridor in cold gray light. Paolo is pinned against the shelving, soaked and shaking, while the phone in Luca’s hand glows with Trent’s trail and the last clean thread of Mercer’s lie.

Paolo Rizzi
I gave you Trent. That has to count for something.

Nichole "Nikki" Capozzi
It counts as late.
The corridor falls quiet except for the rain and Paolo’s breathing. Beyond the door, the warehouse park sits dark and exposed, every hidden route suddenly looking small and ordinary.

Lucifer "Luca" Capozzi
The phone still has a live connection.

Nichole "Nikki" Capozzi
If Trent’s smart, he’s already burning his own records. If he’s not, we catch the whole chain.
Paolo’s face drains as that lands. He glances at the open door, then back at Luca, realizing the choice is no longer his. The next move belongs to the Capozzis.
Lucifer "Luca" Capozzi leaves Service corridor by the exit behind and arrives at Trent's location.
“I ise all of my infernal power to track down and teleport to Trent's location to confront him”
SUCCESS (Great Agility, rolled -2)

Rain-slick industrial glass blurs into a narrow office lit by a single desk lamp. Luca is already there, the room smelling of paper, coffee, and wet asphalt.
Silvio Trent stands behind the desk in a dark suit, half-turned from a monitor full of import manifests. He freezes when Luca appears, his hand hovering over the mouse.

Silvio Trent
Who the hell are you?
A striped shipping label on the desk catches the light, Trent's company name stamped across it. The monitor flickers once with rain noise from a security feed.

Silvio Trent
If this is about Mercer, I do not know what you think you have.
Luca's arrival leaves no room for retreat, only the weight of the desk between them and the file trail spread open like evidence.

Rain kept tapping the office windows while Trent stayed pinned behind his desk, the manifests spread in useless little stacks.

Silvio Trent
So it is you. I should have known the Capozzis would send a ghost.

Lucifer "Luca" Capozzi
No ghost. Just the end of your line.

Silvio Trent
The network is gone. The money, the names, all of it slipping through my hands.
By dawn, the artifact chain was broken, the routes burned, the records sealed away, and Trent's reach had nothing left to hold.
Luca stepped out of the wreckage with his family safe and his retirement finally real. The city kept raining, but the threat was finished, and Silvio Trent was only another closed door behind him. For the Capozzis, the silence that followed was the sound of survival.
