The High Hoof carrier reaches the cliff path almost alongside the armory alarm, its massive wheels grinding over wet stone. The Envoy recognizes the painted delegation marks.

The Envoy

The Envoy

High Hoof colors. Their delegation has arrived, and the sea has chosen this moment to make trouble.

Far below, a fast bandit ship claws across Morrili. Ethrosise rises slowly behind it, green coils breaking the water as light-blue lightning crawls between his spines.

Ethrosise

Ethrosise

Surrender your vessel. The sea has measured your course, and it will not carry you beyond my judgment.

The Squire

That ship is fleeing him, but it has not escaped his reach.

General Rovan

Riders to the overlook. Keep the path clear and watch the shore. No one approaches the water.

The Envoy

The Envoy

King Hammon, the delegation is here, and Ethrosise has cornered bandits below. What is your judgment?

Hold the shore line if they detach toward it. I will observe.

General Rovan relays the order with a raised arm. Riders spread along the cliff path and lower shore, sealing every landing place while King Hammon watches from above.

General Rovan

General Rovan

The line is held, my king. No bandit reaches our stones without being seen and stopped.

The bandit ship veers hard beneath Ethrosise’s coils, seeking a narrow strip of shore. Mounted guards appear there first, spears lowered, leaving the vessel no safe escape by land.

Ethrosise

Ethrosise

Your shore denies them as the sea does. Keep your watchers still, and my judgment will not touch your walls.

The Envoy

The Envoy

He accepts the line, King Hammon. High Hoof witnesses that your riders hold the coast without challenging the serpent.

From the overlook, Hammon sees the storm’s reach clearly: lightning remains concentrated over Morrili, far from Castle High Wind. The delegation now stands impressed by the hold’s disciplined control.
